Better late than never! I hunt on public land and this call I described was on nov 28th. The grunt was 7-8 seconds long. Thanks for the response.

Thanks for the explanation. I've been hunting one deer for 2 years and the other day at 11 am, I heard what you described as a breeding grunt which scared a 6 pointer off and sent 2 does crashin through the woods. It was a long drawn out loud grunt. To confirm, does this vocalization mean he;s tending a hot doe, mating her, chasing her? Thankyou.

Hey, about 6 am I heard a animal sound which sounded like a human saying "what, what, what". Do you think this could be a deer? I have listened to owls, coyote, fox and none of them sounded like what I heard. But one of your videos did sound similiar. Thanks, K

Here in central North Carolina the deer have herd every hunter that’s been Walmart blow grunts and cans etc. & they are wise to that shit and they will head the opposite way from any kind ov grunting and the can will attract a doe and young Bucks thinking a yearling or doe is in distress !
