It's truly nice to see how Deepwoken is getting recognition as if it was a stand alone title. This game truly deserves positive feedback outside of being a game apart of the Roblox platform. How unfortunate. As someone who waited years for this game's release only for it to turn into a toxic hole like it's predeccesor, I really think people should move on. This project takes a year to release some new content and now it re-awakens as a leviathan because of some new layer for you to explore and wipe hours upon hours of progress in within 30 seconds Merely my opinion, but you all are too easy to impress- The game was impressive when it came out but really it's a game that's been done before by multiple projects and the only real difference is the presentation and the music. All you're doing is making it easier for them to live off of a half-baked project with less content than games twice it's age on the same platform.

Roblox's reputation for being a kids platform has prevented many people not familiar with the site from experiencing some truly unique and innovative games. As an MMO enjoyer currently surviving the MMO drought, I've found solace in some of the more in-depth games on this site. The aspect of experiencing a games world to discover its mysteries as a community; Is not something I previously would have thought could come about from Roblox, but some of the Devs on the site do an excellent job of creating truly interesting worlds that don't solely appeal to kids.

Great video, Deepwoken is a truly life ending game. I've lost ownership to my 37 kids, my wife divorced me, and I'm 3mil in debt to the Mafia since starting to play Deepwoken. I simp and worship Arch_mage everyday because other religions are incredibly lame. I wish Agamatsu would adopt me because he's just that cool. This was truly a Deepwoken. Great to see Deepwoken getting some attention, the new update has been great.

Amazing video. Glad to see more deepwoken representation cause its a really amazing rogue like game and just game in general.

The lore of the game is probably my favorite of any game i've ever played. there's so much room left to theorize what could be happening, hell i even write my own lore for it in my free time. Being able to have the aspect of losing and gaining new characters allows for story to unfold just as you play the game

I love this game to death even though I felt many of the pains that come. Be it being ganked, to being wiped, I never truly quit the game. Although some aspects are quite jank, you described the game nicely. (And contractor finally got added, might wanna add that in there, not like any newcomer would even be able to get it anyway)

This video almost made me shed a tear, I’ve been playing deepwoken for over a year, and I almost forgot how fun it was. I remember I had over 300 hours on deepwoken with one of my old friends, it was so fun, and I miss the awesome adventures we went on, and we explored together all the way from the beginning. Playing it solo is frustrating, but trust me, it is so fun if you have a guild or friend to play with.

The actual name of the development studio is "Monad", the "Vows by the Sea" is just the name of the group they use to list Deepwoken under 🙂

I just came across this channel and looked at this video the quality and the relatable games he plays, I think this might be my new favorite youtuber lol

I've been playing consistently since Oct 2022, but if I hadn't played before, this would have sold me. Very good video.

As someone who's also been playing for about as long as you have seeing as how I picked it up on the first day of release, I'm glad to see someone is bringing to light all the reasons the game is really good and a breath of fresh air from other roguelikes.

Only reason people say deepwoken is “mid” or “trash” is because they have a huge skill issue and they expect every game to be easy and to be fair they should have looked at the description before playing. Sure it takes a while to get a hang of but that doesn’t mean it would even be easy to play the game and with the new updates there trying to update the QOL stuff so new players can have an easier experience which is a good thing only downside is its a paid game

I resonate with this video. I'm currently trying to get more in touch with the platforms that acted like warcraft 3 custom games did for me as a kid which in turn led me to Deepwoken and your video. Liked and subbed, keep up the content and thanks for making this.

I was looking to get into this game but I was sorta worried mostly about is it worth the price and what the game really was about. This video broke it down for me perfectly. I was looking throughout roblox for a new experience that I could grind to but wouldn't be a huge hassle. Im excited now to try this game because of this video. Keep up the good work man! :)

as a fan of deepwoken, and roguelikes, i would like to say that deepwoken is not a roguelike. it has some roguelike elements, but its very different than what a roguelike is.

THE BEST introduction to Deepwoken I have seen. You managed to go through the fact that it was made on Roblox and STILL hook the viewer by explaining that it is still a great game with so much content in it. Made it seem like it belongs next to the BEST selling games like Risk Of Rain or Binding of Isaac. I have never seen your channel but you got me hooked. Great video.

IMO the biggest different between this and most roguelikes that people are familiar with is how long each run takes, most roguelikes I know take 0-2ish hours per run but a character on deepwoken can have often have 10-100+.

really well done video! just to add there is 1 more oath which is called contractor. It was discovered pretty recently and its pretty good.

Only Deepwoken video I've been genuinely intrigued by, good work, you'll be out of that desk job in no time if you keep putting in this much effort.

You should play Rogue Lineage too, basically Deepwoken but MUCH harder. I also reccomend you play Lore Game too, it isn't a roguelike but the way they made the game makes you search for all the answers since there is a media ban.
