things i forgot to mention: - azure flames isn't a path, just an upgrade for base flame - explosions are still possible, just a rare thing with lava eruption unless using detonation enchant - there’s a hybrid talent with flamecharm and crystallization called “Temperature Shock” which explodes crystals when landing a flame mantra - there's also a hybrid talent with lava serpant and crystallizaton called "Volcanic Glass" that is similar to Temperature Shock except it causes an eruption when the crystal explode - ice lazers is also a crystallization mantra - surge isn't "underpowered" like i had stated in the video, but still doesn't really have much to offer. just more damage - closed circut is just a damage up - there's also a hybrid talent with shadowcast and surge called "Battery Sapper" that improves on Human Battery and taking your opponent's ether - specter still procs winded like galebreathe (i think) - twisted puppets swaps how the 2 attunement works, with shadowcast being able to proc black flames and flamecharm's fire proc draining ether - i didn't mention that taking scrapsinger would weaken the effect of the rending needle talents and didn’t express enough that scrapsinger consumes the rods, but my point still stands that scrapsinger is just superior than base ironsing if you didn't like how this video turned out, sorry. it's sorta a mess and i put all of this together at like 4 am. if there's any feedback, i would appreciate it

You're wrong about twisted, it makes both sides of the coin very viable, giving shadowcast burn procs makes the flame wisp superior when compared to base/azure

They should rework surge imo, its just an upgrade to deal more dmg and it doesn't replace anything from thunder cuz thunder doesn't have any special effects that are applied like suffocation, flames, chill, etc. Wraith path on the other hand is a really cool path and honestly makes for good combos considering the shadows stun (I think ?) and it also applies a lot of pressure and chaos, but other than that, shadow mantras dont get anything other than it can burn enemies like regular fire, while fire mantras apply a flame that removes ether. Imo they should just change it so both attunements can be used to proc the shadows. Oh and also scrapsinger is just iron but you get more stuff which is kinda lame but eh idk what they could change to make it work as a path Yeah that's it I don't play this game

Wraith path has a great concept but a shitty execution. They should rework it cuz it's the worst path in the game. It's cool that shadow can burn enemies but that's the point when the shadow burn last 0.75 secs. It been half a year and it still ain't fix it.

Btw u didnt meantion arcing between enemies for surge path, still rlly nice vid tho

Lava eruption doesn’t remove your ability to cause explosions. Whenever you use flame within you create a stack of emperor flame, and if you have agitating spark, flash point also gives you a stack.

personally they should add a new path for shadowcast since it's currently the only attunement without a proper path, since they added the wither effect that lowers max hp, what if there was a shadow path that instead of stealing ether it applied wither like 25% of mantra damage would be wither, make that shit purple too

i gotchu basically: ironsing allows you to put rods in your opponent and pull them or use the rending talents (impaler, jailer, or conductor) scrapsinger doesn’t really have a trade-off other than the rods you put are consumed for more damage, and the rending talents are weaker but you are able to use them. even if it is having “less rods” on scrapsinger, it’s still way better than what base ironing offers and you still keep everything good about base ironsing with it. so like i said in the video, it’s just a free upgrade. hopefully this helps but if not im sorry 😀

surge isnt exactly underpowered its just thundercall in general doesnt have a lot going for it talent wise. surge is a direct upgrade compared to normal, which is weird since all the other paths arent direct upgrades

Scrapsinger is a direct upgrade as well. All Surge really does is "MORE DAMAGE GUYS!" which is really boring compared to the other paths. At least Scrapsinger has swords and steals armor. Also, Twisted Puppets is just a downgrade, you should only use it for aesthetic purposes.

@@Sc5ch yes scrapsinger is strong but its also not always optimal if youre trying to maximize jailer, impaler, or conductor. scrapsinger consuming all your rods is more counter productive if you center the build around those three or the pull mechanic of ironsing

@@duality633 i have aside from the interrogator tree, surge, and link thats all it really has. link is slept on but the main thing used is the instant lightning stream. the interrogator tree only has 2 talents that are useful. thundercall is mainly carried by its mantras. look at any other attunement ignore the path, and its talent tree is actually useful. gale with mobility, suffocation. flame with wither, explosions, flamewalker, azure. frost's chilling mechanic, orbital ice. shadow has sightless still or the hanging in place, dark rift. ironsing with the whole metal rod mechanic and impaler, jailer or conductor. all im saying is thundercalls talents dont even compare to any other attunements 🤓

@potatomurp6375 The X abilities aren't that necessary for Ironsing. You get so much value from Scrapsinger that it might even be BETTER to just never use your X and just keep proccing Scrapsinger. The main point was that you still inflict rods, and you keep your X ability. No other path does that.

i love deepwoken so much but after progging a build doing anything like bosses and stuff feels so mundane to do

scrapsinger is the most mid path tbh its just a waste of talents for the most part considering how mant ironsing talents there already are

theres a mantra you can only get if you have eruption path and crystal path

We need an actual shadowcast path is very much needed becaue running pure shadowcast is just not worth it when u can add flame frost or gale to make the build so much better its really sad, also the devs really just don't like shadowcast, like I know the new weapon is cool and all, but its horrible if u go pure shadowcast, I made a pure shadowcast build for it and got wiped. So instead I made a shadow-gale-frost and its really fun as in ice daggers into crit shenanigans and im sorry if im yapping so much im just so sad shadowcast aint like verse 1 shadowcast :( (edit here I love your animations style its so unique and I hope your well :D)

I love how the scrapsinger segment most likely took more time to make than the other path explanations purely because of all the edits LOL Also Scrapsinger basically ditches the utility of rods stuck in enemies for more damage while base Ironsing allows you to use Rending Needle paths (Conductor, Impaler, Jailer) more often because you don't consume the iron rods stuck in enemies as often as Scrapsinger does.

Also Twisted Puppets is a straight downgrade my guy. Just skip the card. Regular Flame + Shadow is just better. Only valid reason to use it is for aesthetic.
