How Megha was so strict and so a seldom user of her mobile was very much inspiring to get imbibed of her pragmatic way of training oneself in life towards the attainment of goals in a steadfast manner! Everest was not of high altitude for her, I hope, attributable to the courage and determination embedded in her!! Hats off!

We just finished listening to Megha Parmar - DeepTalk session. The most inspiring conversation & story I have listened for a long time. - Was numbed several times listening to Megha’s childhood - her girl child discrimination & unfortunate experiences (little shocking in this day & age in India). - Her opportunity to study in college so as to help her brothers in eating home food. Still an opportunity to study as a by product which was critical. - Her water park visit admonishment as a girl telling in every sense. But equally her thought that she should have shared with her parents about the visit & anything that you can share with parents without fear will be the right thing to do - Her father’s support to her climbing dreams - how much children want to do something that makes their parents proud - Megha’s Mount Everest climbing experience - her first failure, her back injury & recovery of 9 months in her teachers house (unable to go back to her home) - her determined second attempt & reaching the summit, - her experience of no oxygen on the return, - her near death, her Sherpa’s unstinting support - Her display of kindness to people (a learning to all) - her positivity & composure in all these travails and adversity - Heart wrenching & inspiring at the same time. Chetan the best till date in DeepTalk. Kudos to you for discovering such inspirations like Megha & conducting such insightful conversations. I felt like summarising her life journey in bullets because while I did that it drove home life lessons nestled in each of these situations. Proves what one can achieve if you have focus, discipline & determination. Any achievement in life in more a factor of mental strength & that Megha had in plenty. Each of us have this mental strength but we need the determination to unearth it.

Thankyou Chetan and Megha, I literally got tears in my eyes while listening about your will power and hunger towards your goal. I had this hunger in my 10th standard but it fades up due to i got trapped in porn addiction. Now I am overcoming this addiction by filling my mind with positive self help talks and I believe that in some days I will get high will power and hunger to achieve my goals so that I will live my life without guilt and mediocrity. I am building my will power with small small challenges to increase self control and self discipline in me.

To go through so much pain, depression of not climbing the first time, come back into the game, get injured and still have that strong mindset that you have to complete what you started is beyond commendable. Thanks Megha for sharing your experiences and in turn inspiring people to never give up on their goals. Cheers and all the best for your future endeavours :)

I wasn’t really interested in watching this as I thought this is not related to my interests. Then Chetan Bhagwat says that there is something about life that you will learn after listening to this . Not only is this an eye opener about the process of climbing Mount Everest but I was crying listening to The last few minutes where she talks about the reason why her Sherpa/guide didn’t leave her and run away when her oxygen was running out on the way down from summit . It’s like a 100 baton ki ek baat !!!

What an incredible experiences of Meghaji we got to listen, it was so wonderful & inspiring. The reason she is alive today has a definite plan and purpose in her life, it is almost one in million chances she is alive & healthy today. Continue to make best use of your life Megha madam. She as a guest in deep talk is more than equal to all the other wonderful guest sir Chetan had. I personally has trekked Stok Kangri in Ladakh which is around 6,123 metres above the sea level so may be I understand little more about her climbing story😊 Excellent deep talk❤️ I would have love more to hear about her Scuba diving & summiting all the highest mountain in other continents also😊
