Deep well jet and shallow well jet pumps are not determined by the actual depth of the well but the static water level in the well is what determines what style pump you should install

There ought to be some overt mention made when replacing an old convertible 2-pipe jet pump with a new pump that the old deep well jet ejector may be used, or should never be used with the new pump.

you should change the injector nozzle before installing the new venturi they are a set. use pvc pipe rated at 100 lb. minimum. use armoured electrical cable. 1 1/4" nipple should be twice as long as 1" to allow for pipe wrench. adjust regulator to gauge. how do i determine to use 230 or 115 volt.

What is the pressure regulator for? My jet pump doesn’t have that.

Do you use schedule 40 or schedule 80 PVC pipe?

I don't even have a well. But I'm thinking can I use this to power my sprinkles off my rain barrels?

Never wear rings and jewelry when you're doing any kind of repair work!! Good way to lose a finger!!

In eastern Europe 50% houses have a well like this .Usually go down 10 to 20 miters .

I have a 315' deep well. I am looking for a NON ELECTRIC pump. Is there such a thing ?

Deep is 1000 feet.

A jet- pump is NOT for deep wells! 75’ is not deep 300’ is deep. Get a submersible instead of a jet.

Although you are correct saying jet pumps are junk, technically any well pulling water from more than 25' is a deep well.

Install a submersible....

Please do not follow these directions on the plumbing. There are so many things wrong it will cause you headaches. There also health and safety issues. Always install a sanitary well seal to protect the groundwater from be comming contaminated by debris falling in the well. I could go on for the length of the video on everything that is wrong.
