I explored these caves with my dad when I was 8 years old, and again when I was 10. There’s this one section called “The Waterfall” that’s a 10 foot drop straight down. Getting down that is actually really fun and terrifying at the same time. They put a climbing rope on it a couple of years ago because so many people got hurt. They block off the small areas too, but there are no rangers inside, so nobody pays attention to the signs.

If u get claustrophobic, ur practically screwed in a cave like that

I didnt know i was claustrophobic when i was 9 and went into the ape caves and got to the spot where it got tight and close and i burst out in TEARS and had nightmares from it lol

Love the ape caves. From Vancouver. I go multiple times a year. Never gets old. You need to actually go through the caves. That's the easy part. Going the other way by the stairs is about a 2 mile hike, tight spaces and climbing. You then take a ladder up and have to walk back down

That's because it is the same girl, which has me suspicious of the legitimacy of this event. It could very well have been staged, or it's just a coincidence that they happened to see her twice. I won't jump to conclusions, but I am extremely skeptical about this.

+Kaijufan14 it is the same girl. She ran off from her parents and got lost. She crawled into the small space i crawlled deep into. She was in there before me. So when i got there she was crying and stuck and scared. Her parents didnt no where she went and here parents are not gonna crawl in that same spot i did... i found her and brought her back. Its thats simple idk why ppl are calling fake here lol..

Edgar Go Smh does anyone pay attention to the video at all? They had reached the end of the tunnel, so they were already turning back to leave. As they made their way back they stumbled across her crying in a corner. She wasn’t that far in to begin with, however without a flashlight and no parents it must have been terrifying for her.

Josh, amazing video! Great choice for locations. I am from Washington state and have been down to canyon beach plenty of times and live about an hour or so from the ape caves. I remember as a kid making it to the end of that cave you went down and feeling nervous but alive. There is another cave to explore with a little more climbing and it dose have a nice exit at the end up a long latter. Also great job helping that young girl back to her parents. Anyway ive been watching your videos for a while and thought it was very cool to see you in my back yard. Keep on exploring!

Is it crazy to think that maybe... MAYBE, the parents, or whoever the adults were, took the little girl there? She had no light.. how would she get there with no light like to crawl into such a tight space.... I feel like if I was that young in a cave and had no light I would literally just stay where I am and wait for someone tbh.. maybe the ‘parents’ had a light and took her with them and left her? Call me crazy but I’m wondering why no one was going crazy looking for her? She looked terrified the poor thing

Like how could they go that long without yelling for her. Dark caves like that and being with a kid you need to hold their hands. They are prone to wonder off somewhere. Hell she coulda fell down a pit and hurt herself.

I would love to explore some caves but those tight spots. 😲 actually when I was 14 I explored some caves in Ga at the copper mines. really cool place. but dangerous. that kid! man she is lucky girl to have been found. has those guys not been there there's no telling how long she would have been lost in that cave, cold clamping darkness.
