Deep Snow Off Roading in Classic Ford Trucks | Ford Era
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Hey All, In this episode we are out in Checkerboard, Montana area. I flew out to meet up with Wes Nelson @Big.Red.Ford to go for an off-roading adventure in his monstrous slick side. Its sitting on 42" Super Swampers with a massive 545ci Big Block Ford. We had such a fun time out there.

I’m a year late, but damn man.. what a great trip with some amazing rigs burning down the trail! I love snow wheeling x100. Such a blast. And that blue International crew-cab is sick!! Love seeing them ol’ I.H’s from the 50s-70s still chugging along... of course with ol Fords, lol..
Miss you Wes I should have been there but I twisted my drive line and couldn't get it going in Time would have loved to meet our Solam🎉an
I really liked your video, and have always loved old Fords. Snow wheeling is great, and the mix of classic iron against the white background is so cool. It looked like a fun group the wheel with. Thanks for posting.

Great to see a video pop up with Wes. Rip
👍 liked the green and white long bed. Wish you would have slowed down on the trails, it was so nice on the trails only you were speeding up the film, to dang much. Other than that all was great! 😁🙋♀️

I was torn on too fast or too slow, i figured ill speed it up because you can always slow it down on the youtube player
That Chevy powered 'runner sure did spend a lot of time towing fords around, nothing new there 😂
LOVE that green and white Bronco!!! That Kaase engine sounds so BA! Broncos love to jump. 😁 I hope we get a What The Truck on that one too.

Super cool vehicles well done!
They were all nice rigs but that 65’ is sweet!!! I’m a sucker for that body style as I own 3 of them currently.
Awesome video thanks.
Sweet video!
Man, I love the Bronco! I think they are one of the sharpest trucks ever made. I'm bias because I have one. 78 XLT I've owned for 42 years. Kind of a rare one with a bench seat. Black with red interior. 33" BFG tires. Was beautiful for most of those years but, Michigan has taken a toll on the body. I'm planning a total restore and also plan to have a John Kaase 500+ inch Ford, air lockers with just a 4 inch lift and 36 inch tires.

Big red has best snow and mud tires, best power for all these varied terrains. Also probably best pulling power. Trail Blaser us over powered and not getting good traction with those tires and traction adjustment and parts.
Dope
I had a 1959 Ford f250 highboy step side bed that would climb a brick wall in low lock four-wheel drive I could get out of the vehicle and walk beside it that's how low it would go I could not get it stuck
Sad that Wes has passed on but the truck will continue to be a local legend

*I got myself a 1964 F100 stepside but it has no lift kit in it and it is a short bed!*
Definitely need Matt’s Off Road Kinetic Rope
Not sure if it was mentioned and I missed it but what model is that older ford/ are those stock fenders? Looking to upgrade my 65 f100 to fit larger tires
Good times Offroad
The Binder has an auto trans, otherwise why not pull start instead of towing it out? Maybe more info on the drivetrains and mods of all the rigs?
Hey! Can someone help me with my 95 5.8 liter bronco? It has four shocks on the front but man this truck beats me up off road. Any advice? It’s seems stiff. It has a four inch lift.
👍👍 42:01 on the big jumps. 11-04-23

We used to use motor bike jumps at the salt pan's out of Adelaide now all closed down because some idiot killed a guy by rolling it with the other bloke in the back of the ute (small truck) now it's closed to everyone

Big Red is currently being frame off restored by Wes's Widow and daughter. If my memory serves me it had a 79 f350 4x4 steering box conversion.
Gosh damn I miss my 78 bronco so much
Get lockers and proper tires. Dump the combine ! I have had two, just money pits. 👍🏻
Están chidas
Are you wheeling in Montana?
Is crazy how Americans used imports but jet use American prts to makem reliable is like they don't have pride in their own

This an excuse to be gay for a day?
When you're talking about Ford trucks. The word "stuck" should come first, they just won't go in deep snow, or on wet ground. What junk.
Какой это кайф просто родиться американцем.
