Deep Rock Galactic - The Driller

As the DRILLER, you'll be equipped with a set of TITANIUM POWERDRILLS. Your job is to clear any blocked tunnels and obstacles in the path of your team, and in combat you are also a force to be reckoned with: Your drills make short work of most enemies up close, and for longer range engagements you are equipped with a heavy duty FLAMETHROWER.
Any damaged equipment will of course be deducted from your paycheck.

Seriously talking here, if you detonate your c-4 as you get into the drop pod, you'll have a c-4 pickaxe

Yeah that needs to change. Mining minerals faster would encourage people to pick the driller.

@@TK-7193 nah. The only thing he can do is destroy terrain faster, unless you’re using explosives or EPC to mine minerals.

@@slyllamademon2652 exactly, just use either of those two. I personally prefer satchels as my digging charges as the subata's reliable unlimited range damage is just too good to be rid of.
my favorite class for how quickly you can destroy the environment and enemies when they get close. love me cyro canon, love me impact axe, love me epc for quick mining

There he is, my favorite. I absolutely adore Cryo-ing a bunch of grunts and using my pickaxe and my MOBILITY TOOL to shatter their frozen asses while healing my own!

Sad because you don't want titanium for drilling. Is expensive and not hard enough. You want tungsten carbide instead.

yes, when comboed with the cryocannon if not, you can still use them to scare off bugs that are piling on you, but the damage isn't great

Very fun gameplaywise, but comes at a massive detriment because you have to see his ugly beardless mug on the character portrait, even after giving him some proper fashion.
