Deep Fried Twinkies
DEEP-FRIED TWINKIES
3 Twinkies
Popsicle Sticks
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Tbsp Vinegar
1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
1/2 Cup Flour
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
Confectioners Sugar (For Dusting)
2 Cups Vegetable Oil (For Frying)
Freeze Twinkies overnight before heating vegetable oil to about 375 degrees. Mix together milk, vinegar, and oil in one bowl, and in another combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Combine wet ingredients with dry until smooth. Sprinkle chilled Twinkie with a little flour and add a popsicle stick before dipping into batter. Deep fry for 3 to 4 minutes, drain on a paper towel and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy!

Here's a tip for you. Put your batter in a tall skinny container. That way you can just dip the whole Twinkie with the stick instead of trying to spoon on batter

In the restaurant I worked at we made these but we used pancake batter We also made deep fried snickers bars milky ways and oreos and every now and then we made deep frwe made deep fried ice cream
