Thing is, you make 'em smaller, put on the aforementioned cheese sauce, and you'd get yourself one of the tastiest, unhealthiest side dishes ever conceived

This one sounds like a county fair food. Make them bite sized and use panko bread crumbs. Deep fry them and it sounds 👌

I would also say to use some real shredded cheese and not just the powder. I'd grab it at a fair.

I would legitimately buy 3-4 oz of that for 5 dollars. Great county fair food. Welcome to America.

Make it the size of a meatball, put it on a stick, dip the whole thing in some type of cheese, and I could totally see that at a fair being sold for like 5 bucks.

A burger place in my city has those as a side dish: They're cubes and they're quite good (crispy bread crumbs on the outside, soft and cheesy on the inside), even though I'm usually not a fan of mac'n'cheese.

This is an actual thing! This might just be a PA thing, but I order them from sheetz and Rutters all the time
If Mr. Sausage added ground beef to the balls then he could have been the one to finally create the Round Meal.

I love mac an cheese balls, and I was surprised to see him make a normal food... and then he made it giant. Never disappoints.
These are actually pretty common on appetizer menus in my area.

I'm so glad he did it both ways. Seriously he needs to start a NSE restaurant or something.
A local place sells deep fried Mac n cheese bites so this is a great idea if you do it in smaller bites

Unlike the last time, he actually learned. When you deep-fry stuff, you're never supposed to ever raw-dog it, like he did with the 2nd ball. But, he did forget to use pankos once again
Mac n cheese bites are actually a great snack. Make them the size of an egg, maybe half an egg, and you're in business 👍
Mac and cheese balls are literally one of my favorite snacks, they’re so good! I think going smaller would benefit you (that’s how I usually eat them)
The pot of oil literally smoking, uses thermometer anyways: "we're way past the danger zone". 😂
Deep fry the octopus
I love your videos they bring joy to me
Make them bite sized and it would be really good.
You're the only channel I consistently watch that doesn't put out hours long videos. QUALITY content
Wonderful episode! We need more deepfried balls in this show 👍
Done well, these are actually amazing. Used to be a bbq place near here that made great fried mac and cheese wedges. Sad it's gone.
The madlad did it. He created Round Meal.
waiting for this channel to slowly but surely turn into a hub for really strange and esoteric but amazing gourmet meals

the title saying ballS, plural, was much more generous than i had expected. excellent work 10/10
A 2 minute weekend episode? Mr. Sausage you spoil us!
This is actually one of the most ordinary NSEs I've seen yet, mainly because I've actually had these before
A restaurant in my city actually makes a deep fried mac n cheese cube and it's pretty great!
We used to make mac n cheese balls all the time with leftovers at work from old Mac. So many ways to pimp it out more aswell like adding garlic, bacon or sauteed onions
great vid
I've had these from a pub before and they were made with actual quality noodles and white cheddar then battered and fried. They were amazing.
I've actually had these before!!!!! They are HEAVENLY
well done, appreciated 🙏
I've had these at a food truck park in ATX. Way good.
bite sized and with bread crumbs and this sounds like a winner
This is actually a thing. The trick is to chill them. Helps them hold their shape.
McCain foods literally sells these made for foodservice, they are known as "Mac and Cheese Bites"
A bar i worked for in my teens served these, customer favorite.
Da king is back baby he neva miss
I nearly cried tears of joy when he used batter!!
I've been making these for a couple weeks now, i do small balls though ofc, they're super yummy if you get it just right
You can buy these frozen (much smaller) at the store, usually called mac n cheese bites or something.
In Texas, the Wing bar, Pluckers, sells deep-fried Mac and cheese bars with a strawberry jalapeno sauce(chutney?) It's incredible. They use basically pancake batter
This sounds like an instant classic for the fish and chip shops. Deep fried Mars bars and Mac and cheese balls please!
I like the small ones of these
Cottage cheese and pineapple tidbits! That’s what elderly folk consume.
Never heard of this being a concept until a local restaurant had this as an option on their menu. Man is the stuff dangerously delicious.
the fryer finally chalks up a win!
my mom usually does this if we have rice or noodles for dinner and there are leftovers. it's quite delicious
you make those battered ones bite size and you've got a billion dollar product on your hands
Bite sized versions of these are sold at quite a few places in my country
result inconclusive: only the sausage version of the deep friend mac and cheese ball will suffice
My local Speedway gas station has a cafe that cooks these, though they’re a lot smaller and triangle shaped.
Wehen you form them a bit smaller, freeze it, batter it with the egg mix use panko and freeze again its a dream. The freesing make them stay in shape and the pank crisp them up.
You can make those into patties to top with burgers, very very good, highly recommend.
Since the deep fried Mac & cheese ball was such a roaring success I think there should be a deep fried Mac & cheese ball sausage, a NSE/regrind crossover episode
Dude made his mac and cheese like a savage
Make em tiny like meat balls, cheese sauce dips, boom you just invented an amazing carny food.
Been a while since I came back here to mr sasigg, I like the expansion dlc
coulda sworn that battered ball would be 5/5, but mr sausage works in mysterious ways
Using those ice cube trays that make perfect spheres would help a lot if anyone wants to try making these!👍
Watching this video alone clogged up my arteries
a gas station by my house makes these but more chicken nugget sized. they are very tasty, so i knew this one was gonna be good!
This is something we make at home. You need to use something a bit creamier than bluebox, and the finished mac and cheese needs to be frozen before you bread them and fry them
These are fire af, lots of burger places in the UK do em
A big-mac casserole version of this could be revolutionary!
Breaded and fried mac and cheese balls is a pretty common appetizer food or side dish.
You inspire me Mr. Sausage.
The way he prepared that mac n cheese made my soul cry.
Fried Mac and cheese balls is a thing in New Jersey though they make them the size of golf balls and they coat them in a thick breading instead of a batter
They sell fried mac and cheese bites at California Pizza Kitchen that are really good. Basically the same as the breaded one you made, but smaller
Very nice 👌
Hooray for finally battering things when he does a deep fried episode!
How could this not be good
Trust me. When made in smaller portions, it's baller as hell.
Can’t wait to see that at the tx state fair this year
My local gas station sells essentially the battered one but silver dollar sized and not you know human head sized. I like dipping them in marinara.
mac n cheese balls are great. i can actively feel my arteries clogging when i eat them, but we're here for a good time not a long time
A restaurant makes mac and cheese balls for an appetizer and it the best thing on their menu
I’ve had these at a bar once. It was served with marinara. Very good.
You have invented dutch cooking. Deep fried balls of normal meal are a classic.
Mac and cheese bites are common here in wisconsin lol. They're always amazing, especially with some marinara or ranch.

There's this restaurant in my city that has a burger with deep fried mac and cheese instead of a bun in the menu. Never actually tried it lol
The sub place near my house (appropriately called Tubby's) serves these. They're super good with a bit of marinara.
This is already a real thing Mr. Sausage, some restaurants sell them as appetizers. I must say they're very good.
wow you really fried those mac and cheese balls
Now we have to do it right with a mac'n'cheese pork sausage ~inside~ the deep fried man'n'cheese ball.
Really want mister sausage to start a restaurant so we can all have a taste of his genius's inventions
Idk why I thought he was gonna batter the foil... but I did and I felt fear. A deep, dark, gnawing fear at the monster I only thought he could create.
My highschool used to have these in the cafeteria on "Fun Food Fridays" which would be drizzled with a creamy tangy 'saint sauce' I miss quinte secondary...
Stick the balls in the freezer for 30-60m and they'll firm up nicely for breading/battering and generally hold together better.
Like others have said, smaller balls. Local restaurant serves mac and cheese balls with a zesty ranch and it’s just too good
I feel like there should be a sequel to the water sausage, but with will it blow and grinding the water too. Maybe make one with pork and water as well.
they sell these at pluckers with a sorta strawberry sauce and they are wonderful
It's like I'm watching an ad for The Cornballer. Ay dios mio!
