Thank you Dave!
Love it Dave...
Thanks for the vids as always - so informative and cool. Question: is the brown result from the fiber laser always the case or is it just this particular metal used? We ideally would like the black finished look. Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing from you. :)

Hi there! It is possible to get a black mark on stainless steel by annealing the mark, but this can take much longer to process. For details on other marking methods, check out our marking methods seminar: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lqB92NGqiba7odY.html
With the trotec speedy 300 do I need to coat anodized aluminum before engraving?

Not at all; anodized aluminum is already coated, allowing it to engrave directly.
Hello Dave, is it possible to mark for example silver or gold with the co 2 laser after applying the cermark coating?

Marking gold or silver with metal marking compounds is possible but settings can be more difficult on metals with no carbon, and testing will need to be done to find the best settings.

@@TrotecLaser Thank you for the advice
I have a question. Do the fiber laser engraving will expose the engraved area to oxidation over time?

Yes, this is a possibility depending on the type of metal used.
Dave, which brand of coating was used in this video?

We used the Laser Bond compound in this tutorial: www.laserbondingtech.com/

25 minutes in 30 watts - it means: it takes 8 minutes in 80 watts. As result we hawe only can 2 times quiklest with spray. I think spray is not needed.

Just use the preset glass or acrylic settings to engrave mirrors, depending on whether the mirror is made from glass or acrylic.
