With heavy rains in the area for the last 3 days paired with the snow melt run off of the mountains, the water level in the river was the highest some of the frequent visitors had seen it in a long time. Earlier in the day I passed a Bronco that had lost his fender in the current because it was so deep. The quads at the beginning that I was waiting for had actually hydro locked one of their engines from water intake.
With a 2023 F150 with a 2 inch level, the water level was well over the running boards and up the door, the front sensors in the bumper was completely submerged giving me park assist errors while crossing.
Trail is Ruby Falls Alberta, crossing the Cardinal River back into the staging area.
