Thanks, Clair! 🙏🏻 I try to do as much before and after as possible. However, sometimes certain shots won’t make the cut. Whether it’s due to time or just because they weren’t good enough, but I can definitely try and add more in there!

Well, most of those shots were supposed to be. Buuuut, some fool (me) had the radio on in the background and kinda ruined it. 😑 Honestly, it wasn’t that bad, but KZread would have flagged me for copyright reasons. I’ll have an extraction compilation coming soon, though. 😉

How long does it take for upholstery and carpet to dry?

It really depends on a number of factors. Such as the material, the temperature, etc... For me, I can control the temperature of my shop and many times I will let the vehicles sit overnight. They are usually nearly or fully dry the next morning. But regardless, you can expect dampness for several hours.

I need an advise ,How you tell costumers that they have to bring their cars?? Or do you do mobile??

I do offer mobile as well. However, I only offer mobile services on certain packages. It has to make sense financially because I can do way more volume out of my shop. But this is just something you would communicate to customers right away. Maybe even somehow include it on your channels and in your marketing.

How long did this take to complete in real time? What was the little red tool used to scrape up the animal hair? What was the tool used to scrub the mats? What was the cleaning solution used on the seats?

1. It took around 11-12 hours total. 2. That is a Lilly Mini pet hair brush. 3. That is a drill brush attachment. 4. Super Clean diluted at 5:1. You can find most of the products and equipment that I use in the description of each video.

How much did you charge for this detail?

It was. It just wasn't filmed. I had hoped that the extraction would be super filthy, but it wasn't. So I hit it with the pressure washer afterward and repeated the process. Just wasn't worth filming and I was rushing to get the project completed for the client.

I agree because using the extractor is not exactly getting all of the dirt out while the pressure washer would have done a much better job of that

@Pure Detail You might wanna rethink the wording of this video. You are saying that the zookeeper is filthy instead of his car. The headline should read," Deep Cleaning a Zookeeper's Filthy car."

Thanks for your opinion. What should we do as detailers do? Make content that no one cares to watch? Most businesses pull their ideas from other successful businesses. If it works, why not use it to your advantage? Someone else will eventually come along and checked the game again. But in the meantime, I think I’ll stick to what is working for me. I do have other types of content coming once I am done moving into my new shop. Hopefully it goes as well as the disaster series have. 🤞🏻
