@@Kygrl8 Okay...I'll play. My 1971 Bronco had manual steering, unassisted brakes, an AM radio, no air conditioning, manual windows, the interior was all steel so it was cold in the winter and hot in the summer. There was no headliner so you could see the frost buildup on the metal roof interior in the winter. To take out the rear seat it had to be unbolted and then wrestled out of the vehicle. It was extremely noisy, the V8 was 205 hp and got 15.5 mpg at 55 MPH. The ride would bounce you all over the road, did I say it was noisy? Please, nostalgia is only good when you willfully ignore all of the shortcomings of the vehicle.

When my grandfather said great great great in Spanish it was because he was out of words because of the awesomeness and how surprised he was. Your customer made me remember him a lot since passed away 3 years ago at 98 years of age and 2 weeks prior his death he waxed his car just like he taught me when I was 8. Also, I was the only grandchild (oldest out of 17) that did it with him and also I helped him 4 weeks prior his death. He died while sleeping and in peace. The strange thing is he commented a week before that he was happy but wasn't going to be able to make it to 120 like he planned to. He told us that grandma visited him and our granma passed away on 1984.

My first truck was an 84 Ranger XL, 2.8L V6 4x2 C5 automatic. Grandparents used it to tow a 14 foot travel trailer all over the country for several years up until 89 when they bought a larger trailer and a larger truck. Wish I would have kept that Ranger knowing now what I didn't know then about the issues it was having, I'd still be driving it if I only knew back then about the ECM problems. Ford tried to computerize a carburetor...and that's where the problems started. I now have an 87 Ranger Custom 2.9L V6 4x2 5 speed long bed, and an 88 Eddie Bauer 4x4 Bronco 2.
Great job. Your detailing is on a whole new level. Pride in your work is a under statement. You made that man relive his youth when he saw his old Bronco brought back to like new condition.
He obviously takes very good care of it and loves it dearly. I love that you took so much time and care as well. It looks brand new again! If I didn’t know it was 30+ years old, I wouldn’t know.
As a FYI: Once had my car cleaned at a car wash in a shopping center, including getting the engine bay washed out as you did at the start, and the car wouldn't start after with nobody there knowing what the problem could be. Craziest thing, some guy walks to his parked car after doing shopping see my car with the hood up and everyone gathered around, walked straight up said he's seen it before, we got water in the distributor cap. He took it out wiped/shook/and blew on it to dry it, put it back told me to start the car and walked away. Car started. TLDR: If you're car wont start after engine clean, check your distributor cap, you more than likely have water in, dry that , car should start.
