Besties I seriously need some suggestions on how to make the living room more homey x

Mirror above the dining table - will make the space more open As for the living room , maybe add some floating shelves or a stand alone shelf rack thing in wood/ jute - to blend with the boho/ neutral vibe and you can add some cute green plants (fake or natural), some souvenirs you may have got from your trips to add that personalized , homey touch ❤

I've always wondered if you can change the position of the dining table and tv stand. Like swap them. The couch can stay where it is and the tv and tv stand can move to the dining place while the dining moves to tv area. This will make the room flow seamless and allow for conversation. Just a suggestion

I am very motivated to clean after watching this. So satisfying! The mirror is better on the bigger wall. And the lounge will be more homely with a painting or canvas on the wall (an image of kenya maybe!) and brighter coloured cushions.

Hi Farhana!! Beautiful vlog wow. You cleaned your place beautifully!! And I get it, not only do you want to maintain a clean environment, but want to maintain the newness of the apartment. I was there in Seattle with a brand new apartment. LIterally the first one in that particular unit until the crazy politics settled in, my goodness. At least they are just about over with for me. Anyway, wonderful vlog very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!

The best way to refresh any home is by decluttering it. Everything that haven’t used in 6 months- donate it. All clothing teams that don’t make you happy- donate/ gift away. Your home will be you safe heaven instead of being a mess.

I miss it too honestly, I just felt over the years that I outgrew saying rafiki 😥 it felt a little childish, but I definitely built a beautiful community of rafikis here 💗 im looking for a new name to go with my growth and also stay true to my roots.

One of the tables on the side of your couch has to go ! Replace it with a faux olive tree from Amazon. & add a nice painting or calligraphy on the wall behind the couch. Also u have too many little vases lol it’s cute but too many !

I absolutely agree on the vases, I kind of went crazy buying every little cute vase I saw. So would you suggest I get rid of the black glass table? but if i replace it with an olive tree (genius idea btw) i fear it will block the window

@@FarhanaObersonyea the glass table doesn’t look like it belongs. I’d say remove that one bc the white looks cute ! & functional. And no an olive tree isn’t that big or bushy. It wouldn’t take up the window space and it will actually enhance the natural lighting coming in and shining through the leaves 😍 they’re gorgeous and it doesn’t have to be huge ! And also I’d recommend getting a nice white (see through) curtain. Those make homes very cozy and elegant and doesn’t darken the room at all and u can pull them to the sides during the day and cover during the night. Hope this helps ! Love ur videos btw. Ur so calm and chill + glad u stopped showing your husband. So many weirdos and thirsty women online. Id never post my man too 😂 good choice sis in stopping.
