Here with depression watching cleaning vids to motivate myself to make my room clean cuz I know itd help. My room is like… 5 times as messy :’) It helps a lot that you made a list of steps like one thing at a time starting with trash. Makes me feel like okay I can do this!

Mental health really is a boundary but always remember your not "gross" or "disgusting" everyone has their own problems but you got this! Always keep close to comfort

i love your message about mental health at the beginning. id like to add that motivation to get your life together really does come and go with depression so it can be difficult to get it all done at once. for me, its been helpful to split the work up into small parts. maybe clean your desk one day and just maintain that organized until the next time you're motivated. this could mean cleaning your desk one day, organizing your closet the next, dusting your shelves the next week, etc. please dont feel like you have to do everything at once if it isn't what you can handle at the time !!! anyway, im v proud of you

yesss! i've been cleaning my depression room of 5-6 years for the first time and it's been taking me months bc i cant handle too much at once, but im really happy that it's getting clean bit by bit without having to overwhelm myself :) so love your tips!!

Depression is such a lying monster and it can leave u drained :( but I’m so happy and thankful to God that He could help us overcome it 😭❤️‍🩹

i definitely needed this, i lost my job on may 16th and have just now gotten a new job. but girl my room needs to be cleaned and sitting around the house all day, for me personally, is kind of depressing. so we onto new beginnings i guess ✨

Im so sorry, I stuggle with depression too. I have had my harder times but Im getting better every day but at the same time i'm getting worse. all we can do is life our life to the fullest. DOnt let it stop you from doing what you love and have it stop you from lifing.

I need to tidy away my depression room because I start my first year of university in september (UK, I don’t know when anyone else starts school haha)… this really motivated me, I’m proud of you!

1. wash blankets and stuff 2. floor 😐 3. dresser/desk/nightstand 4. clothes 5. school stuff

u could always too, put milos litter box on the other side of his little home thing that way its hidden and closer to the window
