Deep Blue - Max Hall
Спорт
At BYU Max Hall had it all, the wins, the storybook ending in 2009 against Utah, and more. Then as a QB for the Arizona Cardinals Hall found himself with a drug addiction. It wasn't until his wife McKenzi snapped him out of it that Hall found new meaning.

There are things more important than sports, but sports can teach us how to respond to adversity. Wow, what a great woman McKenzi. Congrats Max for your progress and giving back.
As a Utah fan who has no love for BYU, I'm very happy with what Max accomplished. Stay strong Max, you deserve all that comes your way because you are a fighter. Bless you and your family.

@@jakejohnson7867 also, how did I "subtly act superior to Max Hall"? You are a dolt. Move out of your parents basement Jake.

@@jakejohnson7867 What? That's not what I read there. Similarly, I have no love for the Utes, but I can empathize with their players who lost two teammates last year.

@@TheFranchiseCA I agree. It's important to be sympathetic. It's just aggravating that the first thing mentioned is something about how he hates BYU. We don't need that garbage. If he really wanted to say something nice, he would've had the brains to leave that out. Just my opinion.

@@jakejohnson7867 you lack reading comprehension. I never once used the word hate. Quit being so soft.
Absolutely beautiful! This is the definition of a comeback!
Deep Blue is an amazing series and this may be the best one yet. Max, you’re an inspiration. I’m sorry you qualify for our fellowship but so glad you’re here!!!
I love watching Max play. Addiction is hard and I can't imagine how dark it can be. I had been on RX pain meds and it messes with the mind. I had to ask for different medicine to come away from the addiction of the pain meds. Max is a hero for beating his addiction.
I was at BYU when Max was quarterback. Some of my best memories were at those games. 4th and 18. Magic happens. Glad to see he’s doing well. His wife sounds awesome too. Lucky guy. God bless.
To use football as an analogy. At times in life losses are going to come. In this case in the form of addiction. For others, depression, unemployment, anxiety, loss, etc. But wins are going to come too. Happiness, family, job opportunities, service to others. Max, I’m happy to see your progress. Trying to make some of my own right now. McKenzi, God bless you for staying to help him. We all need that at times. Great Deep Blue. Go Cougs!
Max is a BYU legend and all time great but despite that I’m happy to see that he and his family are doing well. God bless Brandon Doman and those who stepped up to help a guy when he was down. That is true discipleship - that is doing God’s work. Lastly, great production and thanks for making this content available!
Awesome!! Deep Blue is awesome!!
This is really neat and very personal. Thank you for sharing your story. Strong people. And I am grateful for the power of Jesus Christ that helps us to change.
