It most probably is. But it's going to take a reeeealy long while if we just try a little. It's our job that it won't end prematurely because of us and we can actually make it last so much longer.. Who knows what will really happen in the future. We get smarter every day and are able to make great things for all life. The world and us are like flowers and bees :)

@@KVerssus i love the thought of innovation in humans , knowing that we can do both end and save the world if we try, the image in this mix is the road we're currently heading down, governments become communist as we society have no say or control in what we do with our daily lives, literally being put in a cage by the governments as we slowly lose control without even knowing it , thats what social media will do as time goes on, before we know it it'll be too late.

I truly hate the term "Post-Dubstep". Why is it considered "Post-" even when the Dubstep scene is still flourishing to this day? Why is it called "Dubstep" even when the artists labeled under that name has nothing to do with Dubstep? You see, this is Future Garage. Nothing else. It's a sub-genre of UK Garage, and it has absolutely nothing to do with the Dubstep branch whatsoever. "Dubstep influences" is bullshit. Any genre can inherit a dark theme atmosphere. The term Post-Dubstep has no generalized fundamental as to how it is produced, because it's not a genre in the first place, lol.

Technically numetal, death metal, trash metal, and so on are all part of the heavy metal family and yet they get separate names. It's easier to distingush them that way. Post dubstep is only a name. It's not considered dubstep because it varies too much from original dubstep and "wobstep". There are two types of music called future garage. One really is a sub-genere of UK garage that flourished in early 2000s and the other one is newer version that only takes some basic elements from previous two and started much later (you could say its neo future garage). Anyway I did not invent those names and in reality I'm definately not an expert in distinguishing all those so I just name it the way it seems most fitting.

+KVRS Thanks for replying. Nu Metal, Death Metal, Deathcore, Goregrind, Grindcore, etc are all styles of Heavy Metal. Yes, they get seperated names. That's how sub-genres work - they branch out from its precursor style. However, Post-Dubstep is something else entirely. If it's irrelevant to Dubstep, why does it exist to begin with? You probably know by now that "Post-Dubstep" also means Bass Music, right? Yes, a wonderfully well-thought process went into this. For some reason, someone thought it would be a great idea to create the term "Post-Dubstep" and make it a synonym for Bass Music. Now, people actually think real styles like Future Garage was actually created and influenced by Dubstep all thanks to the media labeling guys like James Blake and Burial as "Post-Dubstep". Lol, sure. Just so we get something straight here, James Blake and Burial was Future Garage / 2-Step Garage and sometimes Ambient, but never Dubstep. There is nothing "post-" about Dubstep. The scene is thriving and changing as we speak. Surely different than what it was years ago, but the concept remains the same.

I think it is called "post-dubstep" only because it came after first dubstep was created, not because it is similar to it or because dubstep is no loger thriving. A lot of those tracks have some influences and techniques taken from dubstep songs as well as from uk and future garage. For me it's like a wide name for a music generation which was born after quite a big milestone. It is only my personal opinion and I may be wrong . I have never payed that much attention to genere names, I just loved the sound ;)

+Fresh Service Rule of thumb, as I always say, a certain style of music that you think should be noted must have a community of listeners. If 'Witch House' has a reasonable sized community behind to support the existence of the style, it is indeed worth mentioning.
