    Beautiful! Did you learn the how to’s on your own, “trial and error” or did you go to school to know what to do? There are so many different paints and finishes you use that I would never know about. The picture transfer is amazing as well. You’re so talented.

  • @cailinsuiledonn

    another great transfer. I have a few questions please if that's ok... !/ do you have to use white chalk paint or will acrylic work as well?, 2/ did you use ordinary printer paper or photo paper & lastly , on your other videos I've seen you use Wood Varnish to seal, is this heat resistant ? thanks so much. 😊

    New follower! Ty so much for this informational video :-)! A question please, when rubbing paper off, where you also rubbing with same pressure on car area? And whats the difference between using black acrylic paint or black gesso in first step? Cant wait to see the rest if your videos!!!

  • @IvetaZiedina

    @IvetaZiedina

    I always try to be more careful when going over the area where the picture , i'm heavy handed by nature so extra caution is always good :D You could definitely use black acrylic paint. Gesso is also a primer and I'm also running low on supplies now so I'm trying to stagger them to make them last longer :D And I have a lot of gesso so thats what i used

  • @IvetaZiedina

    @IvetaZiedina

    Thank you, steel wool is a type of abrasive, alternative to sand paper, you should be able to find it in your local hardware shop in the same place where all the sand papers are ☺️

    I said it before but I am loving the finish on that coaster. Are all the products used water soluble? if so I would not have thought soaking the image with water would have worked. I meant to say in the live video that the skull decoration looks great, I am warming to him hahaha!

  • @IvetaZiedina

    @IvetaZiedina

    Thank you! Yep, all water soluble and water based! ☺️ it’s because I used photo paper to print the picture, the photo paper coating protects the ink from running ☺️

    So once you put that varnish on, can you use this coaster, for hot and cold drinks, and it won't damage it? By the way the coaster is very pretty.

    This varnish I used isn’t as heat proof as I would like, it works but if you want to do a lot of coasters I’d recommend Polyvine heavy duty wood varnish ☺️

    Your coaster looks beautiful but I'm confused as to why you bothered with the metallic all over the coaster when essentially you can only just about see them on the edges. I'm not criticising, it's a genuine question.
