I think I would have put the gold paint on something like a paper towel and just dabbed, or whiped, a bit on the high detail of the bottom, as opposed to using the brush

Here's a tip for cutting the napkin to fit inside your plate. See if you can find a round object that is just that size, that fits right into the plate. Then you can just trace around it on to the napkin, and you'll have a circle that is the right size.

Great job! Tip, use Saran Wrap to rub over your decoupage products to get the wrinkles out, works great!

Dish was great idea! Next time go gently with gold leaf😊,it got to smudged.

From Mississippi. The back of the leaf should be rubbed lightly with cloth or finger. Less is more with rub n buff. Cute projects!
