I also have started cutting off the lace binding after watching you. It makes a huge difference! Also love the roughing up paper edges with scissors ✂️. Thank you. Your cover is beautiful and an inspiration, as usual.

I love this cover. It's beautiful. I've done three nice quilted fabric covers. They are my faviorites of all that I've made I love how you tore the edges on the lace for the spine and under the book plate. It's beautiful!

I love watching you too. YOu sound like me trying to figure out what to put where, thought I was the only one. Love the blue!

I love the cover, but as 'more is more' is not my thing I laugh at myself yelling at the screen saying 'no! It doesn't need anymore!' 😂 for me the snippet and brooch are beautiful and stand out more on their own. Blue is my fave colour, so love this journal! 😊

I love that cover so much! My colours at the moment! blues and teals and browns. I hope we get advance notice of when the journal is sold? I agree more is more, no objection to lots of decoration. My house is the opposite of minimalist - is that maximalist? I hope you and your kids are doing ok. You are in my thoughts so often. 😊💐🌼

I don’t think I made this snippet on video I’m afraid. I have made similar flowers but not these. If you search fabric flowers though, there are lots of great tutorials on KZread x
