What an amazing piece, Dave! I do a lot of painted centerpieces for my wreaths and they always take quite a bit of time because each wreath is a prototype but the quality is undeniable, and there's an original piece of art with each handmade wreath. I'm so happy to find this tutorial as I just finished a 20-inch ruffle on 10-in mesh and wasn't quite sure how to go in and decorate it without deflating the Ruffles. And I have a snowman who will go in the center, so thank you for this inspiration and tutorial - you helped me out of a quandary. 💜

WOW! And another WOW! Where do I start? I had no idea you were also an artist! You have to be to make eyes like that. Those eyes are amazing!! So real. The design on her face is perfect for a lady on a wreath. (I think if it were a man it would need to be different.) That hat! Awesome!! Again, fits her to a tee! Her hair blends in so well with the wreath - curves of the flowers, curves of the mesh. And no Halloween lady can go without her black boa. You thought of everything! Just a stunning job!! Now we have to name her!!!

This turned out AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my I must have a mannequin head!!! You are so talented---I was cracking up so hard over the eyelash debacle!!!! Can we talk about those eyes?! The entire face is amazing i actually grabbed my shirt by my heart when the eye got messed up. After you added the roses for some reason all i saw was Lucille Ball as Harpo.

Thank you so much. I had so much fun making this. The tip had I got at a Canadian dollar store called Dollarama. I’m not sure if they will have it again this year. My local stores are starting to get their Halloween stuff out now. Hopefully you can find something similar in your local stores. Take care.

FYI the key to putting on a lash is waiting a few seconds for that glue to get tacky then applying. At least that’s how I always apply mine. Not sure about the styrofoam material, but it works great for humans
