Almost 28 years ago I had a couple of fold-up Barbie houses. I gave one to my niece the other I kept for myself. My kitty liked walking through the doorways of the doll house rooms. My kitty passed away at 17 years old. My niece is now a 30 year old and the mom of a 6 year old girl. I still get to play Barbie dolls. I don't have a doll house right now but I am planning to make one sometime in the future. I have loved Barbie dolls since I bought a Quick Curl Barbie in the mid 1970's, I got her brand new. Your kitties and doll houses and dolls are all so cute.

I'm so glad you can relate, Romona! My niece gets lots of my Barbie stuff too. It makes me happy to see her grow up with it. Also, I'm glad your kitty lived a long happy life. My oldest kitty is 13, I hope we have him at least another 4 years, like yours.

I gave my 1967 house to a neighbors children. While I was still there, they broke it. Arghhh!!! Pulled the tabletop right off the base.

It's such a great house, isn't it! I've never been able to set up the whole thing, with the front patio tables and fences. It definitely takes more room than I got! 😆

I had that first cottage, picked it up free on free cycle, they left it by the side of the rd for me to collect! and ive lost it!!!!! I don't know where its gone at all! loved every minute of this ❤❤

Great vid👏! I love all your dollhouses 👍 but my favorite is probably the cool cottage one 😍 I especially like dollhouses that close or are modular so I have one of each though neither are Barbie 😆 my dream of owning a Barbie house is yet to be fulfilled 🤔

I believe that porch attaches to a KidKraft house. They make dollhouses in 1/6 and 1/12 scale. They’re usually all over FB marketplace

@@kadawalden Oh the Superstar era! I had both Superstar Barbie and Christie (she looked like Beyonce before there even WAS Beyonce), as well as Fashion Photo Barbie and P.J.. Imagine if they made a Superstar P.J., and she had the brown hair and royal blue dress in the same style as the pink dress from Superstar Barbie. Or a redhead with an emerald green dress-or purple?

Kada- I love your collection of dolls. How do you get Miss Kitten and Walter from messing with them. Like you I like Barbie houses, but I like to build them myself. I like one of a kind houses, so that is why I build my own. Like you I love the architecture. I wonder why Mattel did not put a kitchen in your 1968 house. Did the 1992 Fold-N-Fun not have a bedroom? I like the beach scene. 2016 Barbie house is too cute! I had never seen the Barbie bath set with closet- very cute. I bought the 1977 Barbie house for my daughter when she was a little girl. It brings back fond memories and she and I playing together with it. Your 1962 Repro is too cute! Thank you for sharing this video. I really enjoyed it.

I'm so impressed that you build your own houses, Sharon! Glad you enjoyed the video with my houses. The Fold-n-Fun does have a wall partition that can create a bedroom space. Also, I would've loved to have had that 1977 townhouse as a kid! Your daughter must've been so delighted!

We had the original 1962 house, it was left behind in the house my parents bought when I was little. My older sister claimed it. Why is that even a thing? She got everything. Now my younger sister has it. I guess if you move out of your childhood home you better take everything with you.

I never believed the Townhouse was genuine Barbie when I was a kid. I thought the girls telling me it was Barbie were kidding. I thought it was so horrible & didn't understand why anyone would pay for this. The mystery porch is nice. I have no idea what it is.
