I spoke to a man about a dog in a club one night when i first started going out. I was too scared to actually do it that night but it was burning a hole in my pocket for the whole week until one night I decided to do it. I sat there listening to this song over and over again jamming in my room along with other acid house classics. It will always hold a special place in my heart. This wasn't that long ago either (well compared to the life time of the song), around 10 years ago now, I was 18. I imagine there are thousands of people who remember their first time and this song in particular and I share that with them.

The fascinating thing about this is that the main bass line pattern is palindromic aka a mirror image of itself. The original version on the album had straighter drums, then came the main remix that a more swung drum track.

Such an amazing track, which remains my equal favourite acid house track alongside Ecstacy Club's "Jesus Loves The Acid" and Baby Ford's "Oochy Coochy". They even got played at the goth clubs I went to in London, as they didn't sound out of place alongside industrial and (old school) EBM.
