George solo, wow ❤🤘🇮🇹
Ringo absolutely nailed it on this one. On the drums, on the voice and on the composition. Really lovely and creative lyrics. George also contributes a lot, so do Paul and John. Octopus's garden doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
George's guitar parts are the bomb on this!

Agreed. Simply a wonderful solo, played by a great guitarist.
7:12 this E7 chord really helps get into the guitar solo of George
finally! The rhythm guitar is separate from the lead!!

First thing I noticed too was the separation of lead & rhythm guitar(s). I’m guessing each was on a separate track rather than bounced down to one track to create more room on a smaller multitrack. Question: what app r u using to desperate instruments? I have a subscription to Moises which crudely separates instruments- not like this. Thanks!

@@markgroesbeck2717 When they recorded Abbey Road they used a 8-track tape machine, so you could have 8 tracks. They were able to record the rhythm and lead on separate tracks. And on how to get them, you can try to see if they were panned differently and then isolate the guitar from that with Moises, or grab them from The Beatles: Rockband multitracks, which is what this video uses.
Seriously, the structure of this song is genius.
George Harrison was an absolute genius. My favorite guitar player

Me too, but I think Lennon's background playing here is the bomb.
On some of the harmonies, I think it's John but it's really George. Probably similar range but George's voice is warmer and smoother. It's essentially a country song at the core, except with British voices.

Yes, and perfect for Ringo!
Piano section is perfect
Fantastic drum track.
John’s rhythm guitar absolutely makes the song. Nice to see him willingly be a part of this one even if it’s his only contribution to this track.
I needed this video! I've been trying to recreate this song on my DAW, and the little details are infuriating! This cleared up like 6 things for me! Totally subscribing! Thanks again!
Ringo's drumming....smashes it out of the park 👍
The first seconds of the snare are perfect to sample
You can distantly hear unused guitar bits in the drum track. 0:19 1:00 1:11
Genius. Many thanks for posting this.
Very cool tracks!
John's rhythm guitar here is so good
Superb
great ringo!
Really noice man.
10:57 is the best part!
Grazie
I like how on the sound effect and harmony vocals picture, you can see ringo blowing bubbles in milk
GÉNIAL😊!
3:53-3:58 Indian influence with the Rick
I'm always impressed how much compression they put on everything but specially on drum and bass and yet, the overall mix remains very punchy and dynamic. It seems that they passed everything through a very beautifully sounding limiter. I never noticed how out of tune the piano is but it fits right in.
This song is genius.

Such a shame Ringo didn't sang much in their songs. He sings very pretty

In early days he said he really didn't like to sing & drum at the same time. ( Although he did a darn good job of it on " Boys") But, he certainly matured enough to do both by this time.

I'll try too. That one could be tricky because it was in mono but I'll see what I can do. If I can't do the 65 version, I'll probably do the Ya-Ya's version (which I think is better than the OG version)

@@HJsCorn909 his attack kinda reminds me of bass for Motown and stax, but not as heavy. I’ve always tried to figure out Paul’s bouncy Beatles Rick tone, but even him playing a rick live doesn’t sound bouncy like this, so I’m wondering if his sound was aided by compression
