Mr. Prabhakar's is not the only voice. Yet tv channels and the IT Cell have such a hold on "educated" people that they have counter accusations and deflections, albeit illogical and unprincipled, for every point. The whole thing seems hopeless.😢

Dr. Parakala Prabhakar has very aptly decoded the public verdict of 2024. The fight is still on for protecting our democracy. As he has mentioned, creating such an 'army' to fight for the democratic values enshrined in our constitution is imperative.

THE EMERGING BANANA REPUBLIC IN INDIA In 2014 Modi was voted to power with a big mandate. Bestowing faith in him, expectation by the mass was to have a corruption free govt and redressal to the appalling socio-economic conditions in the country. He was certainly not voted for Hindutava. In fact nobody had any inkling of it when public opinion was building in his support in 2013. Please recall the promises he had made during his public rallies in 2013. Was there any mention of Ram Mandir ? Was he anti islamic in his oratory? 2. As of now the results of 2024 national assembly have been announced. BJP with highest number of seats has been limited to 240 only. But surprisingly President Murmu has already administered Modi formal oath as PM. The floor test wherein BJP has to prove its majority alongwith its allies, has not been carried out. Why a Constitutional procedure has been compromised is not known. 3. In any case even if Modi resumes his third tenure as PM , there is no reason to be optimistic. After all what has he done during his last two tenures extending ten years ? Has he lived up to those expectations of Indians ? Of course the clan of his followers who take him as a “divine incarnation” and harbinger of Hindurasthra, will have reasons to rejoice. But the fact of the matter is, Modi as PM has proved to be an antithesis of what was expected of him. Many, who have stood for him in 2014, are therefore aghast. In fact his unforeseen agenda of Hindutava has brought a very apparent vertical split in Indian society; liberals and non-liberals. The upcoming Hindus upholding “Modern Political Outlook" are not at all with him. Besides, Modis highly discriminatory approach towards minorities coupled with sacrilegious comments, has badly affected the social cohesiveness of the country. And whether in days to come the country will be able to redeem its “unity and diversity”, remains major concern. Modi’s Hindutava has proved to be curse for the country. What is most alarming, under the umbrella of Hindutava, crime and corruption have surpassed all limits. The latest reported NEET scam is just a tip of a colossal iceberg. But what adds a new dimension to these scams & scandals, there is "no accountability" at all. And these disclosures are turning so overpowering, Indian society has virtually become used to it, with no concern whatsoever; जो हो रहा है होने दो..जाने दो.. 4. We all need to ponder what these ongoings and the developments thereupon, signify ? Are we turning dead ? Or , is it the rising "hopelessness" in the society which is taking its toll ? 5. Modi, till now, has not been averse to failure. He was Chief Minister of Gujarat for 12 years and Prime Minister for 10 years. He has always enjoyed the pleasures of position, power, luxurious life and enjoying foreign tours & benefits. Modi has refrained from facing any controversial incidents (Chinese encroachments, Mizoram riots, natural disasters/riots in any state and many more). Courage and skill are necessary to face such dilemmas. Now a person with such a mindset does not even imagine failure. Moreover, the memories of big scandals and cruel revenge on opponents for so many years make him more distressed and he is struggling to face the present situation. Because of that, his confused state is evident from talking about everything that seems to be untrue.

What would have been the mindset of Adolf Hitler during the final outcome of the WW-2 ❓ Actually, given his psychology, probably anger. Factually incorrect. It did not win clear majority but won most number of seats as one party and hence can be the principle part of a coalition government. So it lost vs its hype, expectations and past success, but won in terms of the objective of running a govt.
