    I bought the X20 WiFi 6 3 pack this last week. I never got the blue flashing light from out of the box. Got it working eventually by using a pin to press the reset button and finally I was able to follow the steps as demonstrated excellently in this video. Please bear this in mind and hoping my experience will stop you from wasting your time going round in circles and turning the air blue in frustration. Many thanks for your help.

    hi the internet cable that i disconnected from the modem during set up, do i need to plug that back in? In the instructions it says 'disconnect your old router from the modem before moving on', I'm guessing that's the cable? Well that was the only one that was connected to my modem. i don't have a home phone. thanks

    Excellent video! The only part that you might touch on a little bit more is when you have a modem router a as in combination. These can be used because some internet providers will not allow you to use other modems with their systems. So you can put the router into bridge mode. Now correct me if I'm wrong. I'd love to hear more on your thoughts about that! I think you did a wonderful job I would recommend your video! Keep up the great work but watch hanging out around Brian he may corrupt you. LOL

    Great video, Alan. But it's all about the speed test. Very curious to see the difference between the Deco devices and the Google Wifi you had before. I'm updating my Google Wifi 1st gen router to the 2nd gen today and will see how much better that will be. Not expecting better speeds but, like you, I am getting maxed out with devices so this should help.

  • @TechYourLife1

    @TechYourLife1

    3 жыл бұрын

    The AX-10 from TP-Link is a router. It's not part of a mesh system unfortunately. However, if you're asking if you can bridge them in the wireless settings of th AX10: www.tp-link.com/ca/support/faq/74/. The idea with the AX10 is that one router with 4 attennas is supposed to be enough to reach most of your living space. You should be good with one AX10. But the AX10 is not meant to connect with the DecoX20 as part of a mesh system (where the system figures out where the WiFi is supposed to go). Deco's are supposed to be able to mesh with other Deco devices from what I saw at CES 2021.
