If you haven't thrown out the scraps from the brown pants, might I suggest you add a couple of triangle panels of that material to the side seams to get that A-line silhouette you're looking for? You could even do it on the inside seam so it's less visible?

Baby girl, just throw the items in a washing bag or a pollow case and use the "gentle" program of your washing machine. I haven't washed anything by hand in more than a decade and I haven't ruined a single item, incl. bras and pantyhoses.

You're fantastic. I keep up with my handwash by throwing it in the bath water after a bath. Saves water. Quick rinse, hang dry, wallah!

You often show parts of your house, but I would really like if you showed us the entirety of it, with maybe some infos about its history and decor style and pieces!! Only if you're confortable with that, obviously!

Discovered your channel this week while recovering from getting Covid for the first time. Covid 0/10 would not recommend. Kathleen Illustrated 10/10 best convalescent content ever.

I’m so excited! But I must save for a less chaotic date! My chaos meter needs to get its fill in other tasks this fine morning. Productivity ✨

So much fun and good clean work ethic! You could hang the other quilt above the bed (cinder blocks allowing) for a cozier/zanier feel in the room. Quilt shops sell wood clips for this purpose or you can whipstitch a 'sleeve' across the back for a suspending rod. Also some general tips for shorts for all from experience. Draw the cut lines on while wearing them (or have someone else do it) then cut about an inch below that. Try them on again and see where you need to even out to get the line you want when worn. Lady curves can affect the line. For a roomier fit on the trouser shorts, you can inset a triangle in the side seam from the extra fabric before finalizing the hem/cuff. Also, for cutoffs, machine stitch a straight line about a quarter inch from the final edge - that way they’ll fray but without disintegrating. Also I always machine wash rayon (even vintage) inside out on delicate and air dry, and it hasn’t been an issue? Looking forward to seeing all the closets/treasures! Off to check out your eBay shop...

Green and purple Quilt for the spring and summer season then use the brown and white leaf Quilt during fall and winter times. So it keeps it fresh, warm and invites in the season!

I feel like we've synced, weirdly enough! I did a closet cleanout a few days before last week's video came out, then I took photos of a bunch of stuff I plan on selling and put together my own mending/tailoring death pile, and now here we are with this video! Amazing! Love all the stuff you put out. You're my go-to person to have on in the background while I get stuff done, since I've binge watched every video you've put out at this point. I saved all of my mismatched socks for years. I just knew they would come in handy for something some day. When we moved, I wrapped all of my glasses and small vases etc. in mismatched socks and everything was safe!

Yes eBay is still an amazing platform and like so many different search criteria and filters. Also as far as I can tell they're ethics as a tech company who has existed since 1995 seem to still be pretty solid. They should probably update their aesthetics a little bit but either then that just amazing.

The leaf blanket makest me think of fall so I say purple and green until October then switch

Solution: ramen noodle quilt for summer, feather filled duvet cover for winter 🎉 side note: my boyfriends great grandma made three matching ramen noodle quilts similar to yours out of scraps from the t-shirt factory she worked at, apparently adding noodles to quilts was a short trend 🤷‍♀️

My death pile is mostly just ironing button shirts. At the moment the ironing board is folded up leaning against the wall and its metal and really heavy
