One of the greatest singer songwriters Ireland has ever produced.
This guy is not appreciated enough, no Irishman is writing stuff like this anymore. Much respect. Excellent guitarist too.
I'm from Bolivia 🇧🇴 and I love Declan's music. I enjoyed to watch this video. Thank you ❤.
Well worth the 16 years of preparation...Chronicles is truly a masterpiece
A great testament to our buried history, fear maith Declan.

Got to see Declan play many years ago in the Carnegie hall in Kenmare Co. Kerry, brilliant night !!!!!. Also got to see him play a gig in a venue in Brisbane a few months back. Fantastic live performance what an amazing musician, poet, seanchaí and the voice. Got to say hello Declan after the gig in Brisbane. Very down to earth fella, go buy some of his music and go see him play live. Regarding the theme of the latest album. The famine was obviously a dark period in the history of Ireland. An unimaginable holocaust that cannot be fathomed by the average person living today. Reminds us not to forget the past, good to bring things into perspective now and then. Thanks Declan, keep up the good work…
