honestly the first time i heard it i was skeptical of the whole sound but now i love it and i can’t get it out of my head and it’s so beautiful but i also love the marvelous beaches parts

I’m obsessed with it. The repetition... two or three times would be something. But asking five times? It’s almost ironic. It’s like an unnecessary need for affirmation, to know if they would literally DO IT AGAIN, which is the total opposite of the original point of view of the song... the original point of view being that it’s just life, that it happens, and we must move on. But it’s almost completely opposite, and maybe he’s just assuming himself in the other person’s point of view, or maybe he’s showing his final thoughts on the matter: that he’s upset he has to leave, too.

@@jacquesss I agree with you and I also think Declan left the question at the end for us to associate in some way with our life, whether in relationship, professional life or something difficult to remember but having two sides: regret or not. In the case of music, he talks about changing friends, that when you stop to think about it, you get out of your comfort zone to meet new people, which may or may not change your life for better or worse, in other words, life is made of risking things. And I like that the word “again” keeps repeating itself in the reverb.

"But it was nice to meet you, for love is but a fleeting friend" dude? this hits so hard?????

rapture was my favorite for a while but this is hitting different and I think I'm in love with this one now

My personal favorite from this album

Im almost a boomer and I rate this guy. Genuinely think Key to Life On Earth and Daniel are seriously great tracks, and he reflects what 20 somethings are going through. Real shame the virus has taken his touring away this year. I had lost faith in young musical talent until now.
