Just a quick tip, I ran a very small bead of silicone around the rim on my decked Ammo boxes, I taped it off first to get very clean lines, removed the tape before it dried, let it full dry before reinstalling the lids, not one drop of water has made it in.

I’m a Florida Building Contractor and purchased a Decked a while back for my 2010 F250 and been working with it a while now and have a few recommendations for the company. The seal around the inside of the bed isn’t a tight fit so things fall between the gaps at the front and side, so I recommend additional cap access plates like you did for the pillars so you can extend the drawers out and use a hose to wash out under the Decked. Secondly the drawers are so deep and accessing anything further than 3/4 of the way back is difficult without removing everything in front of it. Perhaps a roller tray upgrade that would allow the items in the back to slide forward instead of trying to get the bins lifted over the divider rails and brought forward. I keep air tools further forward and accessing them when needed is harder when I have to lift them up slightly and pull them forward because a good portion of the drawers are still under the Decked top piece. In the Florida sun that plastic also gets a bit soft from the heat and noticed middle fasteners are spongy. Just my thoughts to help them make an even better product

Ok, just a shout out to the guys at Decked, I seriously pushed the limits for your product on Saturday. Pouring a little concrete on a job and had Home Depot fork lift 45 bags of 60lb. Sakrete on top of my decked system, handled it like a champ! 2700 plus pounds! ! I was impressed, the F250 dropped a few inches but the Decked held strong!

The Decked System has been awesome for me. I combined it with a Leitner ACS rack and boxes on my F-150 to fit my outdoor lifestyle: workin' and playin'. Had it since I bought with my 2017 F-150 and have never regretted getting it. Plus Made in 'Murica.

@@VTMAPLEVIEWFARM I has been for me. Between the decked drawers and the Leitner boxes, most of our camping gear is on the truck. The rack holds our roof top tent as well. Whether I am fly fishing (including my pontoon boat or kayak), upland bird hunting (the drawers keep my O&U shotguns and shells safe and out of sight, kayaking (paddles and PFDs plus other gear fit well in the long box), camping (kitchen & camp gear, hiking packs in the boxes), or helping a friend out on the ranch (chainsaw, Dewalt tools, etc)I have most of the gear in the drawers or boxes and little in the cab or on the bed unsecured (the kayak or pontoon boat mostly). No regrets. I got sale prices from Rack Outfitters.

Looking at getting a pickup again here soon once I’m paid off on my Subaru, and definitely wanted something that would function as an overland vehicle, a first responder POV rig, and something that can carry weight like an ATV as well. Seems to be the system to go with that gets the best of both worlds, especially considering you can get a headache rack with it to work as well. Definitely seems like part of the investment I’d go with

If anyones looking to get the decked system and your planning on running a canopy or a topper over it, I would skip the decked drawers and get something else, there are a lot of cons to the decked system but the major pros are (A) its water proof, (B) you can load a literal metric ton on top of it, but you for the foot of reduced bed space the drawers really aren’t that big, and they are shaped weird too, much better off just making some cheap plywood drawers if your running a cap

I just bought a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 and am seriously considering the Decked System. Glad that you showed that the bed cargo lights and top tie downs are still usable with the deck is installed. I was wondering about that. I can live without the driver side hand grab as well. Great video. Thanks.

Just got my Decked installed on my 2021 Silverado High Country Crew Cab & kept the driver side handle by carefully trimming away the plastic corner to keep the Amo cover in-tacked! Very happy with the fit & finish. I also left the Bed Rug under the Deck, and using a flush box cover over the whole thing. Planning on using a Kodak Canvas Tent Camper which fits on top of everything.

I bought a Gladiator with it already installed. I like them and they are very handy, but..... they are over priced and come with some cons. One, I mentioned the price. Two, it takes up the lions share if not the whole bed. Three, while it’s easy to remove. It’s not easy enough to do it on a consistent basis. Four, The space it takes up isn’t given back completely. You do loose square footage just from it;s footprint. Last, I don’t see much for additional add-on kits, enhancements or features to extend its use. Do not get me wrong I do like it and find it pretty handy, but every time I use it I think to myself. Is it truly worth it? Just from the fact I can’t shake that from my mind tells me I’m not 100% sold. Tack on it’s price and it becomes an ever harder sell.

I might consider getting this for my Truck, but only if they can do customizations such as a shorter length version for Trucks that want to keep their Truck Boxes, Also be able to allow the option for 1 Large drawer instead of 2 separate drawers. This would be far more accommodating for all kinds of applications and purposes... Just a friendly suggestion.

@@VTMAPLEVIEWFARM yeah they said there will always be water that makes its way in since the front of the drawers dont have sealed ingress protection. They also have some fatal design flaws in the ammo cans at the back. I went through a car wash one day only to have one of the can lids and the contents of that ammo can go flying off into the car wash. the air pressure from the blow dryers broke the clasps on the lid right off and decked tells me "you must remove the ammo can lids to go through a car wash because the clasps aren't rated to take the force of the air dryers" whats the point of having those ammo cans if i have to empty them completely out just to wash the car... dont get me wrong its easy to see a few complaints like this look like the whole drawer system is a bad experience but its not. I actually like my decked drawers a lot as they really help me keep tools and job site supplies organized, i keep conduit, junction boxes uni strut etc in my one wider drawer and the long items sit in the recessions on the dividers perfectly leaving room for hand tools and such underneath and my drill, impact driver and wireless angle grinder fit perfectly in the other drawer in their soft bags. its great system that DOES work well for me, but truth be told, im looking at getting a hard shell top or at least a tonneau cover to keep the elements away. i keep towels stuffed in the front of the drawers to keep the tools dry and thats really my biggest gripe. if they did a little better job with ingress protection it would be 5 stars for me, but the moisture inside and the thing with the ammo cans (which by the way also arent waterproof, i had to drill out drain holes into mine after the first few rains) it just knocks like a star and a half off for me in the long run. Its always situational, ill go weeks or months with no moisture issues then one day ill open the drawer on a job site and all my cutters and strippers are rusted shut. replacing All of those tools adds up over time
