Hard drive needs to shut the hell up off of channel 19

I got to say when you put the power to it lit that radio up man not saying it doesn't sound good barefoot. but it put it to work meaning it sound really cool. Awesome work.

Yeah seriously I know he did the video fast because of his memory issues but the fact that he was able to do it consistently to-the-point and show everything is amazing I can't stand 90% of the videos because they fuck around so long he did great one of my favorite videos very knowledgeable now I'm already impatient about getting my radio done cuz I have to wait 12 weeks and I just watched the video 5 minutes ago LOL

Would a 2 pill radio such as a Galaxy 95(T or T2,) RCI X9, or RCI N2 be good drivers for a FB 8 pill, compared to a 955, and how much more clean, clear peak wise would they drive?

As far as clean spectral purity the 955 is the cleanest you can drive the 8 pill with. The other radios with the class c amp boards and the lc network doesn't come out nearly as clean on a spec analyzer. An 8 pill can be driven with 300 peak or so, a class c one like this. For 3 or 400 more watts output driven with 200 more in doesn't make alot of sense to me. I like to loaf amplifiers and keep it super clean.

It may work, but the kits on the magnums produce very nasty power.

The heatshrink we put around the ferrite acts as a much better stress relief to keep from breaking the wires in the end. Also the ferrite helps prevent rf issues from imperfect antenna systems.

Yes if you use ssb it is best to bias the box

It's not information we've ever shared, but it is something we do for customers all the time. Most people can get close enough with the formula the tuning stuff we keep to ourselves.

@@DRail1990 I use my Rig Expert AA-55. There is a setting to for Stub tuning 1/4 & 1/2 wave jumpers.I was just curious as to how you do it.

I will say that all these videos circulating around with clipping the open end of a jumper for resonance is not and will not null a jumper or any type of feedline for a halfwave.

@@DRail1990 my Rig Expert Says you have to check the end of a1/2 wave with a closed end. So you would have to cut it and close the end to check it using the AA-55.
