There are two other boats on my channel that have been featured like this. Andromeda and Planet Nine. I’ll create a playlist so you can find them.
Whether it’s a CAD drawing or HD pics...Andromeda is a Beauty!!!
Andromeda and it's sister ships are becoming my favorite super yachts.
The crew cabins in the tank deck were not initially constructed. They were part of the refitting which took place some short time before the yacht was sold. In the initial plans, the specific space was a crew gym and crew sitting room with tv and game consoles.

Very interesting. This happens often. Always the crew gym suffers!

@@eSysmanSuperYachts If you are able and have time to search, there are videos in KZread that demonstrate the original layout of the yacht when it was still called Ulysses. There is one that is approx 15 minutes where the whole interior was showed. Regarding the crew gym, I totally agree with you, and when I noticed some time ago that they refitted the specific space to make 3 cabins, I was disappointed..

@@eSysmanSuperYachts By the way, congrats for your channel and your videos, I'm a big fan.
Always enjoy looking at deck plans!
Please do more GA walk through. It’s fascinating
Genuinely could have watched that for double the time you spent on it. Thanks for such an in-depth tour!
Nice tour! The sauna is dry heat, the steam is, well... steam.

I’m glad I looked first! Comment for Google algorithms and agreement.
Interesting tour of Andromeda! When I worked 12 hour night shift in mining, having a windowless room would have been very welcome, there was always a little daylight even with covered windows and it was more difficult to adjust the circadian.
I have been in shopping malls smaller than that! LOL! What a beast! Thanks for sharing! 😎👍⚓
This was a great idea and was presented well. Thank you for this. It’s amazing how some people think you need annoying music and Hollywood video montages to “entertain” people. I was fully engaged the whole time. You should do more of these GA walkthroughs.

And it has actual interior photos of the ship! Other "youtubers cough mrluxury cough" post "tour this 1billion dollar yacht" but uses photos from different boats.
I work in the offshore renewable sector as a cable lay technician, to see a yacht version of the types of vessels I work on is absolutely fantastic. This will be an incredibly capable ship that will probably be equipped with DP3 and stabilisation systems, a trip aboard this ship would be an incredible experience.... I’d trade in my 2 bunk cabin for the owners deck in a heart beat! Definitely my favourite super yacht to date. Fantastic video, I’d love to see more like this. More breakdowns due to lack of fuel would also be entertaining haha... keep up the good work, your video’s are entertaining for all the crew to watch onboard, always interesting.
Love your channels! My boat: Starting with the soft top. Next level; a place to stand a broken lawn chair, steering wheel, and throttle. Next level, a crouching area with a port-a potty and a place to recline when sea sick. Next level, water. 👍
I love this style of ship.
Smooth and dark... I bet the crew fight over those bottom rooms (if you’re in a shared room of course). That’d be the one that I’d want at least
These videos are just as cool as walkthroughs. Thanks! Though as a chef myself I wish I could have seen the galley.

I’m going to do another video with technical spaces. Video was over an hour as I drones on that long when I recorded it.
When I worked on Graeme Hart's house in Auckland he was a nice friendly guy to us.
@briananthony4044
3 жыл бұрын
@@Andy_M986 He's had so many yachts called Ulysses, the early one was the rear deckhouse one, I believe it caught fire during the build, Graeme brought it from the insurance company and rebuilt it. Then there was the one he had built in Sth America, Chile was it? Never saw it completed at the Viaduct. Then this one, then the slightly bigger sister. Not bad for a tow truck driver lol.
Given a choice of a single cabin up near the focsle or the shared cabin in the centre of the ship on the tank deck - I would take the latter all day long. Mind you I have only done 34 years sea time.😉
@eSysmanSuperYachts

Yeah it's probably a wise decision. I was recently in a cabin close to this position (forward) and it was not pleasant. But neither is sharing. Now switch the centre cabin to single and yeah I'm with you.

@@eSysmanSuperYachts There is sharing a cabin and sharing a cabin - early years I shared a ‘cabin’ with 60! Sharing with one other person is a breeze particular if you are watchkeepers on opposite watches.😉
I'm supposed to be asleep; I have work tomorrow, but the title got me interested and the content kept me here. :) I would actually like to see more of these, when you're able. I'll watch your _Planet Nine_ video on tomorrow. Gotta say that even the two-person cabins are very nice. Glad to see they aren't squeezed in like sardines.
I really liked the format of this video, would love to see you do more in the future, thanks!
Awesome job as always keep up the great job!
Thanks for the deck tour, always thought the only way to store the helicopter was sideways but didn't think the hangar is deep enough - now I know it is. This is among my favorites M/Y's.
The length was very good. I actually wanted more. The GA interspersed with. photographs is actually more informative than the usual videos of the interiors. Thank you vey much.

There;s a follow up video here with the tehcnical areas kzread.info/dash/bejne/nJumx8WyeNmxYso.html
An anti roll tank is a tank that is filled with water on the highest point of the ship. The tank has perforated divisions in the tank where the water can go through from left to right. When the ship rolles the perforations in these divisions give a retarding anti roll effect on the ship. This system can be found on newer passenger and freight ships. It has been developped by the University of Leiden, Holland for MAERSK.
@visionist7
3 жыл бұрын
There used to be Frohm anti roll tanks with a valve between tanks allowing crew to adjust the level of damping. These were located below the waterline however.
@frederikschiemsky3030
3 жыл бұрын
@@visionist7 that is the traditional tank indeed, the more “sofisticated” version is to have tanks as high as possible above the wheel house. Due to the perforated divisions between the tanks it is a passive, not an active way to reduce roll. The higher above the center point of roll the more impact the tanks have.
I have loved this yacht since it's launch. thank you for the run through!! It's been my favorite.
I love this! Please do more of these type of videos.
I am thinking that some of those larger crew cabins could be for pilots. There would be more than one pilot at a time I would believe.

Thanks for the breakdown and walk through. Find these videos so interesting. Thank you
Thank you, especially beautiful interiors that give a great sense of what it would be like onboard. 👍
Thank you this is one of my all time favorite yachts and seeing this is awesome. Great video.
Wow, really enjoyed seeing the plans for Andromeda. Thanks for explaining the details of the different deck levels.
Excellent as always and I've been looking forward to this video! Despite the length of the video, I would have loved to hear your insights on some of the more technical areas of the boat. :)
I love this kind of video, seeing the GA for the vessel in fascinating for Engineers like me. Great job!
Thank you for this.
Thank you for your videos. Happy Easter to you and your family.
Thank you.
I saw this vessel anchored off of Moorea last December. Very impressive.
Strong work again eSysman! Andromeda is my favorite SuperYachet. You could have gone on for another 20 minutes and it would have been great. I really enjoy the details.
I absolutely love these and how you do them. Usually I only get to see those low quality GA but this is amazing. Please do more if you can get your hands on them. Great content 👏👍
Best yacht tour I have come across....saw Andromeda in Gibraltar it is magnificent....always wondered about the layout....now I know !
Absolutely Outstanding. Bravo!
Really enjoyed this format - the GA walkthrough with photos of the actual spaces.
It may be a personal yacht, but the diversity of this ship makes me wonder if the owner ever charters it out for scientific ocean research? A general question I have about super yacht owners that occasionally place their yacht for charter is, what happens to the owners area when the yacht is on charter? Is the owner space off limits to everyone?

Waited nearly 27 minutes to see the machinery spaces. Time that I won’t get back. Amended comment: I’m a long time fan of Mr eSysman’s videos. And a former employee of the previous owner. It’s an amazing vessel. I hope we can see more of these types of vids. With some discussion of machinery and systems.

I heard that motor yacht Ragnar it’s up for sale it will be really cool to do a walk-through or a general arrangement of Ragnar
That was fascinating. Thank You.
Would heli pilot / security / nanny get the single crew cabins?
@evie6811

I was thinking Nanny as well. I know for my children our nanny would be coming and not want to bunk up with crew she didn’t know.
@KyrainMcLeod

Heli pilot, maybe. Security, unlikely. Of course always depending on the owner, but nannies and personal butlers often get one of the guest rooms. I have seen some GAPs which were very family oriented (kids rooms, family spaces for breakfast and the like) where there were bespoke nanny rooms which were identical to guest rooms, except with a direct door to the kids bedroom.
Great Video. Very informative. Thanks 🙏 🙏 👏👏👍👍
Good tour. I think this is a better presentation than a walk-through in many ways...
that's the video I've been waiting for
Awesome walk through. Thanks.
Love the video. Please do more GA walk-throughs, that was very informative.
I really enjoyed this episode. Thank you
This is a phenomenal video, extremely interesting. More of these please🙏 . Recent subscriber but you are definitely the king of super yacht videos/news 👍
I've never tried to play billiards on a rolling table before. Adds a new dimension to the sport.
I know this is going to be exquisite 👌
Great video, love it, very intreasting, thanks
Fabulous info.
I watched all 26:58 and not one QANON mention, good on ya E!
I would have loved to see the Engine Room on this vessel. I can only imagine how large it must be and what kind of propulsion is used. I too would love to see you do more GA walk throughs. Keep the videos a coming as I watch each and every one. God Bless and God's Speed.

These deck plan walkthroughs are my favourite kind of video that you do. Having a look at Fraser Yachts there are a decent number available. But yeah, like you the one I really want to see is Octopus. Maybe you could start a Gofundme and we can all chip in for a cash reward for whoever can supply a decent recent one.
I misread ‘casing’ as casino and thought to myself ‘wow, that’s a very generous owner’ 😂

Excellent post well done mate.
Fascinating what you can do if at the end of the day you are still richer than before you paid for this yacht. For the next presentation, please look into the cursor settings. There are several highlighting options even in Windows, so I assume your Mac will offer even more options to allow me to follow your tour.
I love looking at GAs find them so interesting to see how a vessel works and flows and give a great insight into crew areas, can’t get over the size of some of those crew cabins 😱
Really appreciate your great work and knowledge. Thanks for sharing! And kudos for not tolerating the disrespectful.
Awesome video!!! Love all of the detail. Only request is to hear about the engine room and the ancillary systems. Thank you so much!!!
Awesome, really good job explaining things. She is my favorite vessel by far, what a fantastic explorer she is. I would love to see a comparison between her and her sister!
Quick question for the next Q&A. I'm very prone to getting seasick. How bad does it need to be on a bigger yacht before guests start to throw up? Also how long does it normally take to acclimate to being on the ocean so that seasickness isn't an issue?
Great report, thank you.
The two crew cabins by the chain locker have a queen sized bed. Could they be for married couples working as crew?

people who work on those yatches have executive authority to manufacture and destroy the yatch, or anything that threatens the assets on their command. it's probably for a single person.
Love this yacht and the video's they showed ( still on youtube too) when she was for sale are incredible. Fraser Yacht sales has a GA for the motor vessel ACE on it's web site as it's for sale. That looks incredible too, and a bit of a weird arrangement (I think) on the main deck aft. Have a look at it if you get time.
What are the units of measurement and what is their significance? I.e. @1:19, the decks are each measured in what appears to be millimeters. However, @2:24 on the helicopter deck, we see markings "75" through "110." Those don't appear to be either meters or feet. What are they?
so interesting. Thanks
Interesting , Thank You . The next best thing to an actual tour , Thank you for the pictures , and the description . i hate to think about the cleaning and maitanance factor , not to mention keeping the crew trained and ready to respond
Great video content. Thanks 😊

I would love to see the deck plans and walk through of the Wider 180. Especially of its generator room and propulsion system. The San Lorenzo 72 is another 1 I would love to. Both yachts have amazing pools

6:25, I guess I always thought the console would be within the window-ed part of the wing. Was there any reason for placing it outside? It seems like having it inside would be workable too.
I enjoyed this.
Great video! You stated you weren’t sure what the difference was between the steam and sauna - steam is steam, moist heat - sauna is dry heat. Quite the yacht!
I slept in the hole on a ship with out any sun light and slept like a baby, could hear the ocean waves hitting the outside of the haul. the racks were 15 high and they were pipe and canvas racks. In the service you learn to sleep anywhere.
The under water line Cabins will be perfects for the night shift who wants to sleep in day In Calm and darkness
