There are a lot of Sam Oven haters online who write reviews about him and his products even though they've never been his students. They just assume he's your regular internet fake "guru." Sam is a brilliant marketer and the best business coach one could ever hope for. I know that because I've actually completed his Accelerator Program and it changed my life.

Wow great topic and makes perfect sense. My biggest take away was “Plan for tomorrow today”. I have been the worst with that but I’m gonna make that change now. I am bad at organization and I cannot allow that to cripple me anymore. Thanks a million Sam!

All of the above is SO true. I travel way too much as part of my job as a KZread creator and it puts me so behind in terms of productivity it kills me. I love traveling but not as much as I love grinding and making $$. Definitely going to re-evaluate my next couple months! Also, my friends think I'm crazy because every night before bed (no matter what time it is), I HAVE to make an hour by hour schedule for my next day. But it seriously helps so much! I usually wake up like "what year is it" if I don't. Let me know if you want help growing your YT channel or producing for it, etc etc (sure you don't need it) but always down to join the team 😎😎

Awesome! I heard from Dale Carnegie's course an idea of Trap Contracts to get fire underneath the feet to get things done. Trap Contracts are artificial contracts set, that if not completed will bring some unwanted experience at a high enough pain level, so you do everything to avoid it. One example is to give a friend a check in an envelope, with a high enough monetary value that might break your budget, made out to a cause you absolutely hate and if you do not uphold your end of the contract, he will place that in the mail. I think with the combo of a war map plan and a trap contract that puts the pain level high enough to get priority things done.

Been watching your videos for a while Sam, unreal content. I've been working on my own e commerce business since march of this year and have already implemented so many of your suggestions. Just ordered a planner, just started reading psycho cybernetics, getting up early and getting big things done first and focusing on one thing rather than running around like a chicken with my head cutoff trying to get mundane things done everyday, stopped watching tv, and now I'm motivated to completely change my wardrobe and hire a chef soon when I'm making more money. They tell themselves they are going to get these business projects done today. But they have a daily routine of things they do and by the time they are done doing them to get to the business project, they have little left in the tank and just put it off to another day.. Whenever I am trying to expand into some new business thing, this is what I find myself facing, which is similar to what you are saying, but its more along the lines of expanding my business.

I can say that the company that I'm working for right now is frustrating because we have project management software that we communicate in, email, Microsoft Teams, etc. I'm going to propose to my team that we operate under one communication umbrella.

I have one question about eliminating variables: It makes sense until you talked about business accounts. Q: You said your business only has 1 bank account. What would you do if your bank suddenly closed your account? Wouldn't you want to diversify that way to protect your downside?

Think about all the decisions you have to make e.g. when driving to work. Honestly, those little decisions like what to wear or what to eat hardly tax your decision power. If it does, you might simply be indecisive, being a whole different issue by itself. Planning and lifting the big rocks on the other hand is serious work. I completely agree.

I liked the video, I can relate to the clothes especially, I think from time to time what my co-workers must think of me, I wear the same color shirts , blue and black, and dockers and docker style pants, that is it!

I agree with simplifying everything, however, when it comes to things like bank account and other vital things, don't you think it is wise to build redundancy into things and diversify risk? When you have 1 bank account and your bank gets hacked or it goes bankrupt (both unlikely but still), you are screwed. Whereas if you have 2, you just switch to another and you are good to go. So I am asking, what is your opinion on simplifying vs building redundancy? Thanks

I agree with you 100% on all of your points. But don't leave all of your money in one bank account, at the very least put a large portion of it into a whole life insurance policy with a Mutual Company like NY Met, Prudential, Mutual of Omaha. etc., and ignore all of the financial advisers telling you otherwise, this is tax free savings! The policy will earn a minimum dividend payment of 2%, and it's tax free interest. You can also borrow money from yourself to spend, again tax free provided you setup a repayment plan to yourself! I don't sale insurance, but get the book, "Becoming Your Own Banker" by R. Nelson Nash. Clothes, who cares what you wear, yes the first impression is important, but neatness, a manicured clean look is the first thing people see, clothing is peripheral. What they care about is YOU, your heart, your passion, you know, YOUR character! I'm getting ready to retire, and I want to start a new business platform targeting small businesses, and I think consulting.com might be a piece of the puzzle!

I need some logistical infrastructure to track my clients but its unique in the way they would have to be tracked and i hope i dont have to invent my own unique payroll system... Im not sure how your consulting business is set up, but can your service - your business model that you teach in your webinar to build a 6/7 figure consulting business - still apply to me building my business even with an MLM layout? Also, highly satisfied with your ability to pay using all cash and no cards. Did you use cards to start up? This is where I am, starting up, and Id rather not use credit to do it. PS Only thought I'd change is DEFINITELY always have at least 2 banks and 2 credit cards in case one has issues (For example you're traveling and one atm card or credit card gets lost or is not functioning, or some other unforeseen issue with an account. It happens ;))
