Hello Tom👍👍 Nice time out in the forest with Cornelius the sneaky thief that he is... Can't blame him with that delicious food tempting him, I'd do the same thing. Beautiful there this time of year, still green and lush compared to the dry and yellow it is here. I have to travel 3 to 4 hours to find a wild forest, but it's worth it when I get there. Nice Viking bowl carrier you made, handiest guy with leather I've seen. The fire bowl is working perfectly, can't wait to receive mine so I can try to make some Signature Cimbrer coffee😉myself. Nice kit, nice outfit. Blends so nicely and reflects the environment. "Period" camping rocks! Whatever your preferred historical timeframe. We're pretty limited in the US in terms of what periods are popular. Groups that do (my favorite) Dark Age or Iron Age lifestyles are pretty rare. It's more Old West, American Civil War, or maybe 1940s. Even Colonial era reenactments get short shrift here, unless you're in New England, Virginia, or other areas that were colonized early.
