It was on this day in 1951 that Jimmy Nelson became the spokesperson on the Texaco Star Theater hosted by Milton Berle. It was Season 4, Episode 14 when Jimmy took over for Sid Stone. Jimmy continued through 1954, performing the live skits and five-minute commercials each week.
