I feel an immaculate amount of joy of how many of these songs i loved when i was young. The fact even Shut up and dance was included made me feel even better since that was my ultimate favortie song

to be honest i miss this so much, when we used to sing these songs without knowing the lyrics (cause english isn’t my first language) and we could just blast these off and go to the park with our friends after school for hours, just having fun.. now i have a job and i have to study shit, it’s great, but not the same vibe yk?

the songs from the early parts of this video were mostly played on the same 3 CDs that i would vibe to on the way to school back in 1st or 2nd grade. other old songs would be played by my dad on speakers or danced to in different hiphop competitions back in primary school. ah, the days. this megamix is so nostalgic yet feels so fresh. thank you.

Can we just take a minute (or 9) of silence for all the memories, all the pain, all the laughter, all the yelling, all the whispering, and for all the seconds of childhood we just missed. For all the “these songs are so cringe, why did we even listen to these” for all the “these songs are so beautiful, why did we stop playing it” and for all the just the 2017 Just dance kids too. All the magic in the music, in the rhythm, in the lyrics, that bass, those drums, that voice. We all must take it in one breath at a time, everything we’ll miss, all that pointless crying, when you could be listening to this.
