Xikers are goblin, playing tricks and some time helping humans

Plave's streams are so fun to watch! Knowing that each members have such impressive vocal, rap, and dance skills, it's more shocking to know that they even produce their songs (including pixel world) and some parts of their choreo too. I will also recommend their covers! Those are pretty short but it really shows off how talented they are.

Xikers story & MV: Korean goblins (dokkaebi) are nature spirits/gods that can inhabit objects and have special powers. They can be mischievous and can also be helpful. They're associated with blue flame (Wikipedia), so it may be that the blue flames around the man in some shots are the members in their natural form. My take: while it appears the goblins are being mischievous, I believe they're being mischievous in a helpful way. The man is working so late that no one is left on the subway by the time he leaves work. He looks stuck in the daily grind of life. I think exposing him to music, the arcade, dancing, and the carnival is their attempt to help him remember what it feels to enjoy life again. At the end of the bridge, they say "tell me what you want. Tell me what you need." and a car appears. I think they gave him what they sensed he wanted. The man smiles ear to ear as he drifts around the parking lot. Minjae's last words are "don't forget." This could have double meaning: 1) "Don't forget" it's our time now (we've debuted). 2) "Don't forget" to have fun and enjoy your life (within the context of the MV). I think they left because they had accomplished their mission. Apparently, goblins are known to inhabit household items like tools and brooms. I think the ten brooms at the end are proof he hadn't been dreaming. He had actually encountered 10 goblins. They may be using the term Tricky instead of goblin because international fans can have different ideas of what a goblin is (like Lord of the Rings). Tricky gives the general idea.

Not sure about MAVE, but PLAVE is basically like a vtuber group. Most vtuber from famous companies need to go through an audition process and i guess in this case it's just an idol audition with vtubing elements.

plave literally ambushed me. i just casually watched their mv and now i’m like knee deep in their livestreams. they’re so talented and hilarious.

I love PLAVE, I kept seeing them on tiktok and got curious, haven't stopped listening to their 2 songs since then. I NEED MORE music from them because they have such nice voices

Omg Plave’s ‘wait for you” has been on repeat! I think they r actually performing and moving with the avatars, no? So it is actually them doing the work just also using avatars instead of showing themselves. I’ve been watching their lives n they r hilarious! Plave is definitely up my ally since I enjoy watching Vtubers (liver streamers with an animated avatar) Their vocals are amazing and they are good a dancing and I had so much fun watching their livestreams. Also their debut song was literally a breath of fresh air😭😭.

Xikers definitely learned a lot from Ateez they already starting their demon line 😂

xikers Yechan is definitely a great rapper. He was on Under Nineteen, a boy group creation show, when he was 12 or 13 and I believe ranked 15/57 despite his age. So he's been rapping for a while.

@@aesthetic2421 i feel you.. i just wish that there would be someone who will translate all their livestreams.. i hope their company provides the eng sub after their live for our benefit. i think they are more popular to the international fans.. honestly, I am obsessed with their voices.. and I wonder if we will be able to actually know who they really are. but there is charm in not knowing who they are as well. it keeps us wondering and it really tickles our interests even more. i have been listening to their songs nonstop.

@@kwazydaisy They've been providing English subtitles for most of their videos which is great but I would love their entire livestreams to also be subtitled! And yes, I prefer they don't reveal who they actually are so they may have privacy compared to other idols. That's my opinion at least.

@@aesthetic2421 exactly. their privacy is intact unlike that of other idols. which is better.. i just wish that more and more people support them because they deserve to get recognised. they have only released two songs yet they are both good and their voices are amazing. i hope they will be the first one to break the barrier for other artists who are as talented as they are.

Plave are definitely like. Real people with like full on motion capture tracking. Its honestly SO cool. Vtubers sometimes do that too but like the level of which Plave is…like their company got BUDGET lolol

So real on the budget, but also because Vlast, their company, is not an idol company but a tech company. That's why they hired members who can handle the music and choreo part. We even joke that Yejun is a partner of William (CEO) cause he gathered all the members basically.

PLAVE - do eunho (white hair) he is very talented. he can rap and can sing and so funny. his cover "she's a baby by zico" is amazing! ps . i'm plave fan thank you for react!

All these debut's were amazing this year so far and many more to come. I was fortunate enough to be around 8turn pre debut and xikers formerly KQFellas. Both their albums are very solid, especially xikers! It is rare for me to be able to listen to and enjoy an album from start to finish. All songs were bangers 10/10. You may notice it kind of gives off Ateez energy because Hongjoon produced and wrote their album. Mave really shocked me as well and had low expectations when I found out they were a virtual group the dancing quality impressed me the most and the song was really catchy after a few listens.

I love PLAVE smmmmmmmmmm. They are so funny. You should listen so their b-side “pixel world”

im actually commenting before watching for PLAVE. There are tiktok translations of their lives and they are so funny. Found them before they debuted and happy for them to get engagements. They are talented singing on livestreams.

Pandora definitely slowly growing on me, the 1st time i heard the song like yeah okay but days after days i randomly start to sing it and it keeps repeating in my head:)

The way I expected plave to come out with another electronic experimental sound but they actually come out with a sentimental song with nice melodies, vocal, and band instrument. I immediately loving the music! It’s so welcoming to their world and it’s a perfect debut. I always prefer a meaningful debut song it makes a good memory later.

I am so excited for Xikers, their album is so fun. 🔥

XIKERS!!! they are goblins, in korean lore, the blue flames are goblin fire and the spirits frequently inhabit household objects (like brooms). the ending feels like the aftermath of one wild fever dream/trip. you liked yechan (red hair) the rapper, and also hunter their main dancer

i love xikers they’re my babies and so talented ❤ even live they’re insane ofc following their big brothers and i love how hongjoong took part in this whole album 😭😭 loved your reaction also i will b adding tht mave song to my playlist it sounds so good

I listened to HAWW's album and it's awesome. I found out that one member is Rocky from Astro's little brother. Rocky joined them on Music Bank for a performance. As an Aroha, I am loving this.

@@kazza3282 she's Japanese a virtual singer, although unlike MAVE/Plave, she doesn't technically have an actual person singing her songs. Shes kinda like an instrument in a way? It's kinda a lot to explain lol. Just look up Vocaloids and you'll see that there are a lot of "fake" singers out there 😅

This reaction was great! 💜I only knew about xickers .. they're gorgeous! but the other groups as well ... definitely worth to listen to them more! If you're interested in new groups, you should check out Xodiac 'Calling' 💜 they're still trainee boy group under the Chinese agency One Cool Jacso, Calling is their pre-debut song and it's only 6 of them in this one (whole group has 17 members) 🔥

i was never really in with the virtual groups cause there are so many trainees and real people that deserve that chance, but PLAVE's song is so good LOL i've been listening to it nonstop one concept that i find interesting though is "SUPERKIND" they're a 7-member group but only have 2 virtual members, so it was really cool to see the music videos

I am SO glad you liked xikers (and yes you said it right :D) - i am also hooked for them since they announced the first members a year ago. I think the one you pointed out (Yechan was mentioned in the comments already) ist Hunter; he is insanley good at dancing but comming from KQ we shouldnt act surprised that these boys are performance monsters! :D I really dont feel like they debuted a few days/weeks ago~ and i feel the same insane energy around them like i feel around ateez (and i looked into their content, as a proud atiny i can say that xikers are totally adorable and SO likable~) - i really hope you give them a closer look ♥

yes Mave performs on music shows, the Show music core is well worth checking out. My favourite debut this year so far is Limelight, 3 member gg, their pre debut ep is well worth checking out as well as Honestly the debut

We had so many great debuts lately!!! It's so amazing to see Xikers finally step into the light. 8TURN are also insaneeeee Although I do have to say, it's a shame that MAVE: is so unoriginal. I had hoped for them to do crazy stuff since it's animated and you have no limitations at all. But they decided to go the save route (+ literally have a song that sounds exactly like K/DA).

Wait for You MV is basically how they all gathered the members. Yejun (blue hair) is the first member, he invited his friend Noah (blonde) and he asked him to join. Noah knows Eunho (white hair, mullet), and Eunho and Bamby (pink hair) are friends. Noah invited Hamin (Black hair), but Hamin is stuck in a previous contract so he's not sure if he'll join thus in the M/V he's inside a computer of some sort, stuck. Once he's free, they all gathered together.

PLAVE I am a Korean K-pop virtual live-action idol. I write, compose, produce, and actually perform on stage. It is said that the video will be played at the actual broadcast site. There is even a stage on MBC Music Core! Maeve has voice actors and was created by AI. Flave moves, dances, and sings. I broadcast on Twitch. On MBC, Flave is called the son of a large company or the son of MBC. Maeve was also created by MBC, but since the broadcast and people are not directly involved, there is no Twitch broadcast and it ends up being uploaded to KZread.
