Nice! Kings from Queens!!
Wow this is so good, I wish there was a way to travel to these spots, pop culture tourism should be real, people would pay a lot
Wow! This is amazing...
This is the ultimate gift to any Run DMC fan .Yes I am a major Run DMC fan so this is a powerful gift to me. God bless this guy showing love and paying the ultimate homage to my favorite. Hop Hop group if all times. I must go to Hollis Queens one day and pay homage to My big brother Jam. Master. Jay I love you and miss you May your soul rest in everlasting peace . Thank you for the wonderful memories. Thank you
How am I only seeing this now ?this was an superb documentary about a group that brought Hip Hop.into my life as young 10 year old from Scotland. They even sampled my all time favourite band The Stone Rose's which is cool.
I started listening to Run DMC when I was 9. Others tried to make fun of me, but the culture followed and so did the others who tried to diss me. I saw Run DMC at Syracuse University before JMJ was killed. A group tried to go on after them with some corny song about "Girl take your panties off..." the crowd boo'ed and left and they stopped their goofy attempt to follow Run DMC. I also was lucky enough to see The Beastie Boys down in Baltimore before MCA passed. Dreams come true.

Dmc lived on 197th between hollis and 104th Ave, the pic on 212th and Bardwell the guy sqauting down is butter love he was like the leader of the Hollis crew, At the end of the song rock box when they adlib they shout him out "hollis crew butta, butter butter butter love now,Kool tee now,Harold L,Harold L"
That was fantastic. Loved every minute of it. Those classic images are indelible in my mind. Thanks.
Watched this last year, inspired me to take a trip from the UK for a walk down the avenue. Thanks so much for the upload.
Well done fam!! Well done!
Thanks very much for doing this. I have visited Hollis, from Canada, a few times, for the same reasons. But not as many sights and never put work into it like you did. Great job.

Great documentary, loved this era soooooo much
this is absolutely fabulous stuff. one of the best things i have seen on you tube for a while , bravo
Really an extraordinary piece of meta art. A documentary film about a form of experiential collage/photography/travel art about a music group. And extremely well done.
That was very interesting. Run-DMC and JMJ are my hip hop idols. As I was watching, I found myself wondering if you would go to the spots of certain pics I remember...and then you would go there. Great work. Thank you!
This is great f/r
I love ❤️ doing this too! I’m a big hip hop fan and Run DMC, where was that big church ⛪️?
I'm sorry but that culture of early hip-hop is long gone.. the fun, the positivity, the metaphorical battle raps (not actual murderous shooting feuds).. it's been gone for decades, replaced by dark, demonic, regressive, low-consciousness primitive lyrics and behavior. . . and I might add - weak snare drums that sound like a BB dropping on a sheet of aluminum foil.
You are exposing infastructure
WHY are You minding Black Peoples Business?.
Incredible! Thank You for this Amazing Documentary. Wow
