Hey hii your video are amazing..i have my home country dermatology degree..what are my chances to get into derm residency in the US..? Can IMG’s make it??

I have a question about the calls though. Is a call where you are in the hospital or a house call? Since derm cases are not emergencies what exactly do you do during the calls ?

Every residency program is different. Call can be taken from home or in the hospital/clinic. We get calls from teams who need help with diagnosing a skin condition… not always an emergency. Sometimes we can manage via telemedicine and other times we have to go in to see the patient to clinically assess and do further work up such as biopsies. Emergencies include Sjs/TEN

Does dermatologist have patients in admission or they just take derm consult for patient with derm issues on admission?
