Iris is so inspiring. I realize this interview is edited, but its very disjointed, jumping from event to event. There are time limits im sure, but i could listen to iris all day.

Art is a part of who Iris Apfel is, she is one amazing lady, I would loved to have a mother like her. She has so much talent, so creative, style is so much more than than beauty. I doubt you would want a mother like her. She speaks of her own mother not having time for her. Of course she does not complain about it. She also emphasizes that she made the choice to pursue her career and interests and not have children. So, I think better to find these ideals and be inspired by them then wish they were our mothers.

Great interview.......I just wished that the interviewer would not have interrupted so much. I really wanted to hear the rest of whatever story Ms. Apfel was in the middle of. Love her sense of style. Great intelligence.

This interview drove me crazy. I watched this because I think Ms.Apfel is fascinating and hung on her every word. The interviewer was being down right rude next time let her speak.

attention deficit syndrome on her part...

They edited this to keep it a certain length, I think. . . wish they'd have left in whatever she said, even if it meandered a bit off topic. She's interesting enough that I want to hear her!! The interviewer isn't interrupting her, it's the way in which this was edited.

This interviewer is one of the worst interviewers I've seen. She didn't let Iris finish the stories and I wanted to know about the outfit for Easter ... what the heck???? And why did they sell their business??? Wow, hire me to take over this gals job. I know I could do better! What a shame.

It has always amazed me how an interviewee can be so affected by an interviewer.

The interviewer is far from rude, and is a fine interviewer. Anyone not understanding the interviewing and filming and editing process might consider remaining silent. Better yet - contact the producers and ask that the edited out portions be shown on another youtube episode.

She did not let her finish any stories. She is back and forth with question about when she was young then after marriage and back to young. I wonder if this is her first Interview that she does.

Damn, I wanted to hear the rest of the story and they edited out what Iris said! Too bad!!

So many negative comments about the interviewer, Debra. But these come from people who are ignorant of the interviewing process. The interviewer is one of the best I have seen. She had done her work prior to the interview. She knew her subject, and Apfel's history. I give Debra 5 stars.I would like to see the portions that were edited out for time, if that film is still available.
