As a custom exercise, I actually like it. You can tell a lot of thinking and quality is in this build. However. However. I don't really think anyone yet has really exploited the unique aspects of an electric base to produce something that truly reflects form and function. Everything still looks too traditional. To retro, in this case. It's not really a reimagining of a bike. It's more a re-application of existing ideas. What I would actually like to see is either something radically different from ICE moto design to reflect elec bike architecture. Or, make the function reflect the fact that this is an electric bike. For example, please please stop trying to make the tank look like a traditional fuel tank. In this area alone there can be so much innovation, especially from a custom point of view. Yet all I have seen so far is a conventional approach. Other things like indicators, subframe, steering presentation and of course bodywork are all areas where you can really be more creative. I admit that to really exploit the electric platform, it needs to start from the chasis manufacturer. Otherwise you're stuck with the fundamental dimensions and architecture of a conventional bike.

Wouldn’t it be better to run a left hand rear brake lever instead of the usual foot lever. Fingers are more sensitive than toes and with no clutch to contend with there’s no reason not to. I know it’s probably a familiarity thing but most bikers have some pushbike experience so it’d probably be fine.

Is that how bad lvl 3 charging is out there? With a DC fast charge combo plug its like 30-60 minutes for a refuel in America and our infrastructure SUCKS! WHAT type of stations are you using and at what speeds in KW? Came to say very nice work on the bike. 3 hours is very brutal for a CCS plug no?

Oil in the blood? There hardly is any oil in it. And that oldfashioned design might look good but it is actually totally conservative. When will people at last accept that the future belongs to electric motorcycles? Therefore they should also look like the future. Not like kitch old stuff.

@@nickaslanidis6156 That's not what I mean. Of course evrybody should have the option to choose an (electric) motorcycle with a personality that fits his or her taste. As far as I am conerned they can put electronic sound generators on them to emulate ones ideal sound (fake Ferrari Testarossa maybe?). Selling hipster designs is however not going to be the future of the motorcycle. Then such a sound system would for instance actually have to be based on an analog record player. Imagine what that would sound like at every bump in the road. And imagine the maintenance costs in needles! :-)
