Dance is perfect...........but in Bollywood dance...the facial expressions are important. There's specific eyebrow, eye and lip movement synchronized to every move.... These dancers look like robots... Don't give them Indian costume and give robotic dance. Give robotic costume and do a robotic dance. Would recommend watching Madhuri Dixit and other Bollywood actresses prior to 1990.

I don't dance Bollywood, but I do dance belly dance. Although different cultures and different dances, they embody the same aspects. I agree; the dance was pretty good, but the facial expressions really leave it feeling dry. Eyebrows, eyes, and lips tell a story within itself without even the movement of body. Debbie Allen should have them practice the choreography but set aside days where they just practice facial expressions to the music. You can tell when a person is feeling a dance versus a person who is just going through the movements. Dance is so much more than movement. It's all about becoming the instruments, the beat, the lyrics, etc. One last thing, it probably doesn't bother others but it definitely bothered me. I feel like the neck snaps should've been more 'snappy' if that makes sense. They should hit the beat like the drums are. I don't know if that makes sense, just my opinion!
