What do free wifi and a psychologist have in common? They're everywhere and virtually useless

I’m a psychiatric survivor. I was abused and gaslight, forced drugged and traumatized by multiple psychiatrists and psychologists from ages 13-17, now I’m 18 and suffering from psychiatric drug injury. They killed me. 😡😣😤😖 I used to be so so happy and healthy.

Jesus Christ, this guy is completely incapable of having a discussion like an adult.

I love on how all these videos that defend psychiatry, almost 99% of the comments are against Psychiatrists.

Wow this Gabe guy is so annoying and self-righteous. I'm very interested in the topic, but his inability to discuss it on a theoretical level makes the podcast unlistenable. No one cares how great you are, Gabe. We are here to broaden our knowledge, which, alas, is impossible because of how you suffocate the conversation.

he says facts matter. was he a researcher on the DSM panel? Paula Caplan was and everyone needs to check out what she learned as a researcher for DSM 4. none of it is based on science and a lot on bias.

With psychiatry, we have the same problem as with programming: Garbage in = garbage out

Well Gabe, I’m glad you got better, but forced drugging and scheduled lecturing has done a lot more harm than good for many people.

I have cortico-subcortical brain atrophy and the neurologist admitted that it was due to the antipsychotics that they gave me because they misdiagnosed me with undefined psychosis after I complained that my narcissistic family was abusing me. They were. Gaslighting. Flying monkeys. Triangulation. It was a circular explanation: "You are crazy because you believe you are being abused" "You believe you are being abused because you are crazy" I spent 8 years completely dead alive. My dog, who I loved more than anything, died in my arms and I couldn't feel anything. I begged them to help me taper to give him a proper goodbye because he was diagnosed with cancer, and they did the opposite.

I asked for help. I asked for help with the abuse that I was going through and the "help" ruined my life, mind and physical health. And I have recompiled thousands of testimonies exactly like mine. Antipsychotics were called "chemical lobotomies" in the 1950s. Of course, back then, that's what they wanted.

This is more about Gabe then anything else.

Gabi, all the things you have asked from us are things we already have. But when we try to talk about these things, we get hit by people like you who don't listen.

This guy has the worst arguments I’ve ever heard. I can’t even finish listening to this. Perhaps he should actually talk to some survives and academics writing in this area.
