Inflation is at historic highs, with many facing cost-of-living and energy crises. More countries face a debt crisis and the risk of global fragmentation has increased. How should policymakers respond?
Watch our debate on the global economic outlook with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, Finance Minister of Nigeria Zainab Ahmed, United Nations Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance Mark Carney, Minister for Finance of Ireland Paschal Donohoe, and Cambridge University’s Mohamed A. The funny think with inflation is country and majority of people may surfer but for multi billion companies, they may thrive making the gap between poor and super rich out of reach. Then how can a poor country govern rich companies within their jurisdiction, companies that are ever becoming highly sophisticated as well. The policy makers will not grasp the various factors involved like unlimited resources, sophisticated business ideology and futuristic design from artificial algorithmic engineer by alleged super rich and ever benefiting from our recession. Some companies are and will govern the glob without our consent or approval as we get more and more poorer as the general public. in the ancient Egypt such accumulation of wealth made one family super power and kings in relation to poor owning nothing. At that point what can the poor tell the wealthy from both cash and wisdom perspective. And if any policy maker attempt to interfere from their jurisdiction, the said legal persons will migrate to other country. That's how policy makers have no power in the following perspectives, one production and process procedure, product re-engineering, distribution, addictive nature of specific product, health of products, location of production, cost manipulation. In short the policy maker control only taxes. Taxes that can be engineer to level wanted by alleged rising global governs.

Constructive theories of debt restructuring from the Finance minster of Nigeria. A contrast from reality. On the backend what are the productive lines does debts are meant to service and how yielding are those debt investments on the long scale. Perhaps Richard Quest foreknew the gimmicks behind such pile of loan portfolio by a country.. I can't say further.. God help Nigeria.
