It is sad that non-Muslims perceive Islam this way. I am a revert and before coming to Islam I experienced 9/11 with my Muslim coworkers. Subhanallah my experience was so different than other Christian Americans because I saw the perspective of good Allah fearing Muslims and it was not the message I was hearing from the media. Subhanallah I am so grateful to be Muslim and so grateful for these conversations.

According to Warsh 2:184 how many poor people must you feed after missing a fast? Answer 3 or more. Hafs Quran in 2:10 it says that Muslims get condemned to hell for lying and in the Warsh Quran the same passage says they get condemned to hell for being LIED TO He "said" (qaala), "My lord knows ..." (21:4) Hafs verses Warsh "Say" (qul): My lord knows ... Hafs version qaala is the perfect tense and therefore Muhammad is the subject of the verb, but in the Warsh version qul is the imperative and therefore the subject is God who is commanding Muhammad/Muslims. This difference is repeated in 21:112.

Wow! This is the first time hearing this man, good job I watched until the end. He confirmed my belief that there are beautiful people on this planet and there are people who wish to cause chaos. This will always be the way life is. It has very little to do with religion. All religious believers need to understand each other and the fact that they all are praying to the one divine creator. There may be different paths, written in different ways but they all lead to the same place. Love each other, allow each other to follow a chosen path. Learn about each other, such beautiful knowledge should be shared without pressure of conversion ❣🙏

By most conservative counts, the Quran contains over 100 passages that call Muslims to take up arms against unbelievers in the name of Allah. “Kill them [unbelievers] wherever you find them… And fight them until there is no more unbelief and worship is for Allah alone” (Quran 2:191-193). “Strike off their heads and strike from them every fingertip” (Quran 8:12). “Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties; in exchange for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they slay and are slain” (Quran 9:111). “Truly Allah loves those who fight in His cause in battle array…” (Quran 61:4) “The Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah” (Sahih Muslim 1:33).

I agree with you, this is one of the best videos for Muslims to watch. Mehdi Hassan is an amazing journalist, indeed. Mehdi has presented Islam much better than many Muslim scholars .

Amazing speaker ! A true genius in debate. In this one speech he has done a great service for Islam. May Allah Swt bless ,protect and guide him always and grant him a high station in this world and the hereafter. Amin.
I remember when Br. Mehdi talked to Richard Dawkins and Dawkins tried to demean him. He asked him if he actually believed in Islam and everything that comes with it, he said he’d be complimenting him by assuming he doesn’t, but the Brother stood his ground like a warrior of the Ummah should.
