And for Deathstroke to turn around and immediately pinpoint the exact location of deadshot from a mile a way, shows how capable Deathstroke is at hunting, and finding.

Being as trained as DeathStroke is, he's got a background in counter ambush and counter sniper techniques. His situational awareness was good enough to already know that if there was a shooter, he would know exactly where to look first. The reflection in his katana was just to confirm what he already suspected

Tbf the act of the katana breaking would make the kinetic energy transfer less impactful. Going to Super Soldier serum gave him enough cone cells in his eyes to perceive something that small by distance.

Context: Deathstroke and Deadshot among other mercenaries were hired by Joker to hunt down and kill Batman, Deathstroke went for the kill immediately and Deadshot stopped Deathstroke by the order of the Joker. Deadshot never tried to kill either of them, only split up the fight, Deathstroke knew it was Deadshot because nobody else could hit a shot like that. Still a cool cinematic though.

I love that line

Death stroke is such an underrated villain on the devs side. Like you put us through heaven having an epic boss fight between Batman and death stroke in origins, then you hyped us up with death stroke’s return only to make him another sad miserable tank stealth mission, or whatever it is.

Deathstroke has always been my favorite villain in DC

I swear Deathstroke be one of the only villains able to hold his own in a 1 v 1

Keep in mind that dead shot is shown to be hundreds of meters away in the next frame, and Slade just instantly pinpointed his location based off how the bullets hit his sword
