The melody in the beginning reminds me at Iron Maidens Hallowed be thy name awesome epic brutal song...the lyrics fit perfect
A section of the main tune reminds me of Angelo Badalamenti's Mysteries of Love theme from Blue Velvet. I like how music does this. And I love that metal is both beautiful and brutal.

ahh, man, i love this song. Very nice video, tho some of the lyrics were off i think. also the white font was hard to read with the light backgrounds on the paintings. But very nice video, nonetheless. Fantastic song :)
