DEATH WALKER - Only When We Recognise That We're Going To Die, That We Can Truly Start To Live

Aralyn trained to be a Death Walker, which is someone who values death, and who values life.
We have become so separated from death. Yet it is only when we recognise that we're going to die, that we can truly start to live!

It‘s like a trail in my heart. A light that feels open for me. :) I admire your words Wendy.🍃🌍
Such a calming voice. My thoughts: Most people work extra long hours just to gather more assets attempting to satisfy a void in their lives. Most people push Extremely hard to find ways to live longer, yet in the end they all realise they forgot to simply LIVE Life. Give me ONE memorable day of Living Life & I will pass on the ONE THOUSAND days of Existing. Thanks for the video team 🤗

I love this lady. She is so in tune with life. I love all of these video's. I am spending hours watching each and every one of them.
This touched me deeply. Living with dying in mind, allows us to live in the moment. I hope and pray that I can leave a trail of light behind. Words of wisdom like this can only emerge from wholeness.

Starting with the death of my mother when I was 3, and many others since then I can now, finally, look back and see so very clearly what a blessing this awareness of our mortality is. I truly cherish every day. Not in fear or worry, but in celebration of *life*. I cherish every person in my life. Even the unpleasant ones seem here to teach me something. Being aware and accepting of death makes life so much richer and sweeter. And now at this late date (I'm 70) I've a few friends who are sure they died briefly and came back. Every one of them say it's beautiful and we shouldn't waste a second fearing it. Yet another reason to celebrate.

I would want to know when I will die. What I would do differently? I will be less scared. Less scared of doing things, less scared of the places outside my comfort zone, less scared of getting to know people. And maybe less scared of what other people might think of me. I am also a believer of expressing yourself. I am glad that I told people how I felt about them. Sometimes, those seemingly simple comments stick to the person's memory longer than we think, and they have the potential to make their day, or change their perspective about themselves. It's always lovely to see your videos! Thank you for doing what you do with so much love in it. I hope you guys are having a great day! ❤

How could almost every word this woman says in the film so wise you could tattoo them on without second guessing?
This video made me think about life and how I’m living it and my feelings that I need to say out- loud to the people I love I liked it very much xx
I have always thought a life should be celebrated when a person dies it is only sad because we don't show that person who we are. I agree with her 100% & think the same 👋💜
Death walker... what a generous soul
This video hits home in so many ways. Death is simply part of the circle of life just as impermanence of all things is reality. The past has gone and cannot be changed, whilst the future may not come so live life in the now. Be as kind and compassionate as possible to all things and try to exist in harmony with all other sentient beings. Tell those you love of your love and don't be afraid of human contact.

There is also this obsession about being scared of death as if you can run away from it, or avoid it, if you lock yourself down, or walk every day worried and in fear of dying. Then my friend, it's not that you are saving your life or preventing death, you are simply not LIVING. Death is part of Life. It WILL get you whether you like it or not, whenever. I loved this film, this woman and the message; couldn't be more relevant today. Thank you.

I Am with you not Dead yet it's funny in some ways or maybe not funny I was livening. In in India. For a long time . My younger Brother came I'l he had only 6 wks to live so I came back home to look after him asked him what was he going to do do if going to hospital or a home in front of the Doctor his reply was I am not going fucking anywhere you are going to look after me till the end . The Doctor said that's fucking good . So my little Brother that I loved I was there to the end & I will always remember the smile on his face when he took his last Breath . So to you all every day counts while wee are here make the most of all your life . Love & happiness to all Peter Scotland & remember to Dance in the light till the end . Sure Annie - please drop us an email - hello@greenrenaissance.co.za and we will put you in touch with this beautiful lady.
I became a "Death Walker" at the age of 25. When the Aids crisis came to my community in South Florida. The straights ran away screaming bloody murder. When I got my diagnosis at age 26, I knew the day I was supposed to die. Clearly. When it came and went, my mentor and I sat together and he said, Hey, that wasn't so bad was it? My death date came around two more cycles, before it got bored of me defying it. My mentor died last May 2023. He was all I had when I was dying. When the straights turned into SAVAGES AND ANIMALS and ridiculed us and condemned us, kicked us to the curb and denied us burial rites, I (We) my community, buried over 200 men. When you walk someone with AIDS into death, you are forever changed inside. And nobody will ever know the horrors we saw, and how that affected us in ways you cannot fathom, and also, the love we shared between us. Good for us, sad for them. 30 years have now passed, and death has not come knocking again. I guess it gave up the ghost !! ha ha People don't talk about death nor want to either. Then when it comes into their lives and homes, they are so traumatized by it. And I think to myself, gee, had you got involved in the game when you could have, this would not seem so bad, really !! Then they need therapy for the rest of their lives because mummy or daddy or even worse, one of their children are dead. Spend twenty weeks in a survivors of suicide support group and tell me, by the end of it, you don't want to kill yourself too !! I've been on the shitty end of the stick my whole life, with people abandoning me, during some of the worst times in my life, including my impending death. I speak of all my family, friends and men whom I might have been involved with. So I don't have much pity or concern for others, because nobody really cares about me at this stage of the game. I am pretty jaded with people - if death came for me tomorrow, there'd be nobody to mourn me. Nobody is gonna walk me to the "Proverbial Door." At least I know what it looks like, and I have studied enough to know what is on the other side, and who will be waiting once I cross the great divide. And Won't that be a Good Day !!
