Context: Xeno was pissed that his mod got cancelled, and Fatals gets to live, so confronts him in his territory to end his life. Oh yeah and sonic is here because this is death toll.

Or how about this. Fatal is hunting for codes to get himself stronger. Because he like sonic design, he hunts every sonic he could find. And then he found Xenophanes, he decides to try to get his code but it's too hard. So, he took Deathtoll and decided to play that card at Xeno. Xeno slowly change to sonic and then Fatal got his meal.

@@tracey8121 Fatal doesn't really have a soul for Beelze TO take though. Feel like it'd be more likely Fatal is substituting for them because Beelze wouldn't be able to take Xeno on completely on their own, so they take advantage of the fact Xeno is within a world of code, and teams up with Fatal, who has absolute control over such realms, to weaken them to a point they can claim their soul. And when it becomes Sonic, it's like Xeno's soul has been fully extracted from the vessel, and Fatal's just finishing the job taking Sonic's code as their end of the bargin.
